The lcd writing tablet works as intended, but I feel like it should have been cheaper than $25!

It's what I ordered but not what I wanted.

Good for kids to play.

First of all, it feels a bit cheap. The biggest disappointment though is that it is MUCH dimmer than the picture shows. I was expecting a bright green and instead there is a dull blueish green. I've debated returning it but the "already have it" and laziness is strong lately.

So bummed, I thought it needed new batteries, but once I changed them out, it still didn’t work.

I have a pocket-size LCD writing tablet that I love, but it's too small for anything other than jotting down quick notes while I'm out shopping or running errands. I'd like to find one that's basically the size of an average school composition notebook--that is, one with a screen around 8.5" by 11" or so--for doing some serious note-taking while I'm reading or doing research (I would, of course, transfer the notes to my computer at the end of the day or the end of a research outing). With that in mind, I'd hoped that this tablet from TAGAU would fit the bill, but alas, that is not the case. When writing on my pocket-size LCD tablet, I can easily make fine pencil-thin marks and characters. When using this tablet, however, I find it essentially impossible to create lines any thinner than what I'd get if I were writing with a fresh-out-of-the-box wax crayon, and I believe this is because the tablet's screen has too much "give" and thus makes excessive contact with the point of the stylus. (See the attached pics for a comparison: the words "this tablet" were written on this TAGAU device, whereas the words "other tablet" were written on my pocket-size one. And yes, I used the exact same stylus and applied the same amount of pressure while writing on each tablet.) In my opinion, then, this TAGAU tablet is better suited for a child's doodling than for an adult's note-taking. Now don't get me wrong--I don't think the tablet is defective. But contrary to the impression given by the product's promotional info here on Amazon, I simply don't believe the tablet was actually designed with adult note-taking tasks in mind, and hence my three-star rating. So if you're like me and you're looking for an LCD writing tablet on which you can jot down a copious amount of notes and scribbles during the course of a day, I'd suggest you pass up this tablet and continue your search.

I was surprised how flimsy the sides are. Since its for my grandson I was hoping it to be sturdier. I'm afraid it will crack. Tanga has some really nice deals for really good prices but this not so much.

Not too sure. Please send me a new one that works! I use it for work a lot, hate killing sticky notes.

Unfortunately, I got this for a gift for Friend and her two little girls this unfortunately I got from the Amazon discount page and it’s not really worth the price because now they had it for less than a month and they’re not working even after putting in new batteries
