So expensive for being just a plastic run for gumballs

My daughter asked for a candy machine & gum ball’s for Christmas. I almost got the red vending machine but got his one instead. She’s 10 and wasn’t really into it. I thought the design would have a wow factor but she said she felt like she was going to break it because the lever seems like it could snap easily, and it was hard to get the gum balls to land properly so they could go down the tubes. I think a younger child would love the design but have a hard time actually using it. In hindsight I would have purchased the red vending machine and bought candy to refill the prize balls. If you are torn too hope this helps.

The top was pretty easy to open to allow the gum balls to go in it's super fun for little kids. My only complaint is it takes awhile to get the gumball up the chute and it doesn't come with gum balls.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gumball Tower is brightly colored. It is fun way to get a gumball. The gum balls are filled in the top. Turn and pull watch the gumball travel then launch and watch it roll. Your little would truly be amazed you’ll need to stock up on gumballs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son thinks this is pretty cool. He enjoys watching the gumballs. It comes already put together and ready to use. It works pretty good. Sometimes you have to hit the lever to shoot the gumball up the tube a couple times before it actually makes it up but it doesn't bother my son. He likes the challenge. The only thing I didn't like was it didn't come with gumballs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m pretty sure my daughter would chew gum all day long if I let her. She has been super exited about this since she received it. I’ve had to hide the bag of extra gum balls because she keeps going through a fill a day!! It holds around 30 ish gum balls that go in the top. Twist the knob and it goes in the bottom area. The second part of the ride goes down on a lever that has to be flicked to get the ball to jump up only the curve ramp. This part was slightly difficult for my daughter but might be easier for older kids. It’s appealing to the eye although some of the part don’t actually function. My daughter absolutely loves it and I have a feeling gum balls will be added to the weekly grocery trips now. Perfect for a gift for the kids who has all the regular toys.!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a neat toy that reminds me of the low-tech, builder-type toys that I played with as a kid. It seems that nowadays everything is electronic, and we all need a break from that. I wish they provided some marbles or bouncy balls with the product, but I imagine they would work if you found the right size.
