Drone was fun for my 7 yo, but the battery dies way too quick. Maybe 10 minutes max of him using it and then we have to charge it again. Good though that it’s a quick charge. He does enjoy using it and it’s fun, just be prepared to charge it constantly.

6 min runtime, 30-45 min charge time. Can't find manufacturer info to order extra batteries. Instructions say to charge via a computer USB port, not an external charger (weird). Battery terminals in remote were installed incorrectly (two spring terminals for same battery slot) had to pull battery terminal out reverse it to get batteries in correctly. Flies well once up and going.

I want a proper drone one day and I just got this to have some fun and see if I’ll like it enough to invest in a real drone. It’s fun and all, but the battery has a 6-minute lifespan (literally—it even says so in the directions) and it takes 30-40 min to charge. The battery dies even before you’ve gotten the hang of flying it! While cute and fits in your hand, this is not the one.
