My family has a bunch of the Apple tags & they are wonderful. Distance isn’t an issue. We use them in backpacks, cars, purses, etc… However, my son loses his wallet. A lot. When I saw this I knew it would be perfect for him. Apple tags are not wallet friendly. I downloaded the app & activated the tile. It’ll sing a tune when activated. Then I tested it out. Someone said in another review that it’s only 25ft radius. It’s actually a 250 ft Bluetooth range. I stood next to it and used the app, it worked. I went to a different level in my house, it worked. They offer a paid warranty add-on that covers reimbursement if tryout tile can’t be found, and free battery replacements, etc… I didn’t chose to do this, for what I am finding it doesn’t make sense for me. For Tile to work to it’s fullest capacity, they ask that you turn location services on “always” not just “while using the app”. For someone who may have phone battery issues, I can see that draining your battery? Bottom line, so far so good….

Very good product would be better if it was a little louder

This little thing is ingenious. It fits right in my wallet without adding any weight and barely any bulk. Now I can keep tabs on where my wallet is if I was ever to lose it. I had trouble pairing this to my Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. It took me a few attempts. I'm also impressed at how big the Tile user community is... there are always around 200 people in my hometown who can help ping this Tile tracker for me. I'm curious to see how long the battery lasts. The previous Tiles I had (Tile Sport) died after a year. In order to replace the battery, you had to ship it back to Tile and pay a replacement fee.

It seems a bit louder than the old square wallet tile.

The slim has gotten too long. It used to be square and fit my wallet better

Works good. I love the reverse feature where I could just click the button on the slim to find my phone as well. So far so good. I guess my only complaint which isn't really that much is that sometimes the range of the slim could be very easily interfered or it could be some other factor that I don't know, but for the most part it is working

I wasn't familiar with Tile when I received this product and assumed that you can geolocate lost items; that isn't quite the case with this product. If the lost item that has the tile is close in proximity, within bluetooth of your phone, you will be able to see on a map where the device is and play a sound to help locate it. Now, let's say you put the tile in a wallet, spent the day shopping, and left your wallet at one of several stores you will still have to visit each store to determine if the tile is there. Again, goes by bluetooth and the device for which you have the Tile app. I feel like there is a missed opportunity here. For example, this tile would be great to throw in a piece of luggage and if your luggage is lost during travel at another airport you could geolocate it. Important to note, there is also a premium monthly service so perhaps there are more options through the service. I know that you are able to view a location history over 30 days, for example, and free battery replacement. If you are prone to losing items in your home or place of work then perhaps this is what you are looking for.

I have using it for a almost week. It is really helpful to track items like bag, wallet, car and etc. it is very slim that does not take much space and it very easy to setup. It just took 1 minute to connect it. It helps to track item as well as it also helps to find phone which has application installed. Overall, it is really easy to connect. However, it is really fragile that can bend and break easily. It need to keep safe.

I am a big fan of Tile’s products and this Slim fits well in their portfolio. I like how it is the size of a business or credit card. It is about the thickness of 2-3 credit cards. It is great at luggage tracking. My only critique is that the button on it is too easily pressed when in my wallet so I won’t be able to use it there anymore unless I disable that feature. Otherwise, if you are looking to track luggage, this is perfect to hide in a luggage tag.

I received the Tile Slim in exchange for my honest feedback. It is a very cool little device. These specifically, really do fit in your wallet without ‘bulking’ it up meaning you can’t close it. They are extremely easy to set up and use. We are forever losing our keys in the house and this winder product has helped alleviate a lot of headaches. This one's button location is much better than the other tile products and I haven't had to worry about sitting on my wallet and worrying about my phone going off full with the Tile Ringtone.
