[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this pump. It is so light weight, I can't believe it has the suction it does. It easily fits into my work back with room to spare, because it's rechargeable, I don't have to worry about being stuck to the wall. If I need to get up and move for a bit, I can easily move and not feel burdened by the pump. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the app. It didn't really give me much information and I constantly had issues with it connecting to my Android phone. Make sure you are properly sized for the right size of flanges to get good output from a breast pump!!! I received this breast pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stellar sent me this pump and it’s pretty awesome. I love how compact and comfortable it is. I’m able to still use my hands and pump at the same time. Super helpful for us busy moms with lots of things to do. I love the shape of the flanges the most. They are comfortable and stable. The app is super easy to use and control the pump. Over all this pump is easy to use easy to clean and compact enough to put in a pocket and carry on with the chores!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pump is a lifesaver! I was using a “portable” pump prior to this one, but after using the Medela Swing Maxi pump, I have discovered that I was missing out!!! This pump is truly portable and great for keeping both hands free, which is a complete game changer with an infant! I loved that it even came with a cute backpack to carry it in when traveling. There is a wide range of settings, so I was also able to pick the best setting that worked for me. The shields fit comfortably and all of the parts are relatively easy to clean. My only issue is that I wish the tubing it came with was longer and that the pump itself had maybe a belt clip or something to make it easier to wear. But overall it is a great quality pump and totally worth it! I received this breast pump from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but if I knew how great it was beforehand, it would have definitely been a must-have from the beginning! Mamas, don’t go another day without it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Medela Swing Maxi is a pretty good pump. The efficiency of the pump is good, it is very small, portable & easy to use. The pump allowed me to be mobile and free as I pump. I was able to use the pump during my commute & wasn't tied down with a plug. I got about 3 pumping sessions out of the battery before it needed to be recharged. I wish holding ribbon was a little larger & elastic to put on a belt loop or make it easier to hang. The pump is pretty quite too which is nice especially pumping at work. The functions are good & super easy to use. The cleaning was also very easy, each piece comes apart & can be sanitized easily. Some of my favorite features of this pump were the portability, size, easy use and how compatible it was to travel with. All of the pumping parts & the pump fit nicely in a small backpack making it very easy to add to my work bag. All in all I really liked the pump. I wanted to thank Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this breast pump & allowing me the opportunity to test it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: lightweight, easy to assemble, easy to clean, and easy to use. After trying other wearable pumps, this is MUCH more comfortable. With others I would dread pumping - with this, it’s still a chore, but not Capital A awful. I find this pump to be just as efficient as my other wearable pump - both take longer than using my manual pump- but sometimes the trade off is worth it to have free hands. The app is easy to use and has more functionality than I needed - but I could see how all of that information might be useful to others. Cons : Its a bit awkward to carry the pump if you’re trying to walk around or use both hands. It’s too large to fit in a pocket. I wish it included a hook so I could hook it onto a belt loop - you could probably “hack” this by using a carabiner. The vibrations of the pump make it uncomfortable to tuck into the waistband of leggings while pumping. It’s also annoying that the manufacturer recommends washing all parts after each pump and sanitizing daily - that’s a lot of work. The parts are easy to clean and dry quickly - but it still takes a while to wash all of them each time. Overall I like this pump. I hesitate to say “love it” because I find myself going back to my manual pump for efficiency and ease of cleaning. I like this as a second pump - I would definitely recommend over a traditional “stationary” pump. I was given this breast pump to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 9 months into my breast feeding/pumping journey and I have tried several pumps. I received the The Medela Swing Maxi from Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Medela Swing Maxi is a smaller, portable pump but is not discreet. You must use a pumping bra with traditional collection bottles. The output compared to my Elvies that I use regularly is indeed more by 1-2 ounces but I don’t like that I still have to go through undressing my top half to attach the pumps. I would love to see medela create a discreet collection cup! The pump itself is very easy to connect and clean. Compared to my spectra S1 which has long separate cords, the medela has one that has a split in it to connect to the collection bottles. I do not like that the pump starts automatically without choosing your setting. I do enjoy that the pump itself is rather small. It was easy to take around with me. I would prefer a hip clip to have even more freedom with the pump. The pump is very quiet which I also appreciated. Overall I really do enjoy using this pump when I am at home. It is comfortable and I love the battery life since I tend to forget to charge things. I can get at least 6 pumps before needing to charge again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I want to thank Medela and the Stellar Product Testing Panel for gifting me this Medela Swing Maxi breast pump. It had quite a few positives and a few things it could improve on. Overall, I haven’t naturally been a medela fan in the past, but the new breast shields that came with this pump might have converted me. They were much more comfortable than the others I have been using. I enjoyed the size and power that came with this pump. The motor is mighty but rather quiet, which is nice. I have a smaller pump that I used for the first four months of my son’s life, and the swing maxi was definitely convenient for pumping while trying to get some work and/or housework done. The Swing Maxi was also more powerful than my other pump. The only drawback to this pump is that I cannot wear the breast shields while I work outside of the home (I was able to wear my other one at work more easily under my clothes). Using this one around the house makes it easy to pump and care for both new baby and toddler. Life saver! I really like the pause button feature - not available on my other pump - this is great if you fill the bottle and need to replace it. The parts are very easy to assemble and clean. It has a few more parts than my other pump but worth it for how gentle the suction feels for this one. I especially liked the backpack with the built-in cooler that came with it. Perfect size. We took it on a few hikes just in case, and I pumped in the car on the way to and from work a few times with it. The bottle stands are genius I wish more companies thought of this. No more crying over spilled milk. About the pump and the app - I liked that it automatically connected to the app once I had connected the bluetooth. The bluetooth took a few tries to get working, and I had to delete the app and log back in a few times before it was working right. I don’t like that it makes me track which freezer tray, etc. If I had kept better track from the beginning when my son was born, this would be a lot easier but now it’s just annoying. I don’t like that I have to connect the pump to the app in order to know how long I’ve been pumping and what level I’m on. Those should be visible on the screen. It became annoying to have to wait for the two to connect to know how long it had been. I like being able to look down and see the time elapsed. I was also thinking that women who cannot afford a smart phone would be unable to utilize the features of this pump. I did like that the app allows you to track breastfeeding and diaper changes as well your pumping sessions. You can also track baby’s sleep, bottles fed, and development (contractions, too!) in the app. A nice one-stop-shop and it’s free (unlike most baby tracking apps). One final comment about the app/pump. You have no real idea how much battery is left unless the pump is connected to the app. I ran out of juice the other day because of it. Luckily, I was home and could very easily plug it in. Overall, the suction felt more gentle than my other pump (significant as I struggle with comfort due to elastic nipples). Everything was easy to use and clean. I am planning to continue using this pump, so I’ll be purchasing more parts to prevent my having to stand at the sink and clean parts after every pumping session.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was impressed with the efficiency of this pump and it did help me pump with more freedom, but it's not discreet. I think it's easy to use (once I did a quick read through the manual to make sure I used all of the features). It is easy to clean. I love how lightweight it is and simple. And nice that you can charger with a USBC charger (one less charger to keep up with). I didn't use the app mostly because I'm exhausted by more apps and looking at screens. I assume it lets you know how long you're pumping for, which would be nice to know but the pump auto shuts off after 30 minutes. Love how it came with a backpack! I also like how it switches to expression mode after one minute. The pieces of the pump are all plastic, and I had to be careful not force anything so I didn't break it - it's hard to explain, but it's kind of hard to attach pieces and make sure you don't force it. I also like how easy it is to just pump one side. Important to note it's NOT hands free unless you have a pumping bra. I would recommend this! I think it sits somewhere in between the truly hands free pumps that you can hide in your bra while working and the bulkier pump you get from insurance. It's a nice in between and smaller/lighter to tote around, but I don't know if it's necessary day to day or how Medela recommends women use this pump? I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the convenience of the swing maxi. It’s small, light weight, and super easy to travel with. It’s very efficient, however I wish that it came with more sizes. The flanges don’t work with other models, so I will have to purchase new ones to be able to use this. I would have also liked for it to come with a clip, so you can clip it to your pants and walk around, but I was easily able to make my own with a strong chip clip. Overall I like the design and ease of use. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with an opportunity to test out the Mandela Swing Maxi!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been pumping and breastfeeding for over 3 years now, so I’ve had some experience Witt different types of pumps and all the clogs and milk blisters you could imagine. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel I was given the opportunity to try the Medela Swing Maxi. This pump is awesome. It’s small and so portable. It makes pumping easier when you have less parts to carry, put together, and of course wash and sanitize. Medela has reduced the amount of pieces needed since the last Medela pump I had and I love it. The new style of tubing makes it hospital grade with no milk backup happening and the valves have been redesigned to not only look more sleek but be easier to wash as well. The function of it is easy and user friendly. I will say that I didn’t find it to be very quiet. It vibrates a lot and it’s not the quietest thing. It does charge and hold a charge for quite a while, which made it wonderful to take on the go and just easily around the house with me. I wasn’t stuck in one pumping location. The only thing I didn’t like was the length of the power cord. Because I’m a procrastinator (or because I’m a mom, not sure which might be the culprit) I needed the pump when the battery was dead, so I had to pump while it was plugged in. The power cord being so short really limited my mobility and I had to sit in kind of an awkward position near the wall to keep it plugged in. The pump also features a Bluetooth function that allows it to sync up with the Medela Family app. This allows the pump to communicate with your phone to keep track of your pumping sessions and ounces you pump. Because I’m not nursing a newborn or primarily pumping I didn’t find this app as helpful for me. I don’t really need to keep detailed track of my stash. I’m sure someone in that position would find this app feature more helpful. Thank you again to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to try the Medela Swing Maxi. I highly recommend it to any momma looking for a pump!
