Hi I was looking for a small speaker for travel and purchased this item and delighted to have done so, first of all its size makes it easy to put into travel bag or pouch,it produces a nice sound for its size. So delighted with my purchase as it suits my needs. THANK You.

I bought this to be a pillow speaker after reading many poor reviews for "true" pillow speakers. I had planned to use it Bluetoothed from my phone to the SoundCore, so no wires would be involved, but the sound delay between a phone and radio set to the same stations caused havoc with our different sleeping habits. But the SoundCore accepts line in audio in addition to Bluetooth, so I now plug it into the earphone jack with a male-male 6 ft stereo cable. Placed under my pillow, thickness is not a problem. Volume is controlled by the radio it is plugged into, but what ended up easier is just moving the SoundCore a bit! It is advertised to have 8 hrs of play time, which especially at low volume is sufficient. The only drawback is a slow flashing blue indicator that is supposed to come on when Bluetooth pairing is taking too long, but stays activated when an audio cable is plugged in. Under a pillow it does not cause undo problems, but I think that is a design defect as it should not come on at all when an audio cable is plugged in. Regardless of my use, the manual indicates you should not charge speaker for extended periods of time. In this day and age why can't there be electronic controls to prevent over charging? If I use the speaker every night the speaker is being charged from morning to night. Is that extended time?

I've put off buying a Bluetooth speaker for years because I've never understood why they're not available to pair in stereo. It seems like a wasted opportunity (why replace a boombox with effectively mono sound?). I've carried around wired computer speakers to picnics, outdoor work events, etc. Finally somebody offered what I was looking for.Each speaker is about the size of two decks of cards, stacked, and the quality of the sound they put out is pretty impressive. I was initially disappointed in what I was hearing until I switched to a higher quality audio file; for a speaker so small, I'm frankly surprised that I could so easily hear the difference. The bass is not super impressive but that's to be expected given size, and it's certainly sufficient for most music in a situation where portability matters. The treble is well-differentiated and I feel like I can easily pick out the different instruments in a song, which I really appreciate. They're certainly not going to replace halfway decent bookshelf speakers, but they do compare favorably to my computer speakers. A pair of these can easily fill a small room. I'm looking forward to using them when I need something portable, or just for occasionally watching a movie in bed.It did take me a good 30 minutes to figure out how to pair the speakers, because I'm apparently incapable of figuring out directions from pictures instead of written instructions. You have to pair them before connecting them to a phone or computer. You turn them on and hold down the Bluetooth icon button on each speaker for 3 seconds, after which there's a beeping sound, and then you can pair them to your device.They do appear to have 1/8" jacks, so you could also use a cord connection instead of Bluetooth.

I have some trouble sleeping sometimes and find that listening to the Get Sleepy podcast helps me immensely. I've tried a couple of the soft headband Bluetooth "earbuds" and find that they irritate me by moving around during the night. Reviews for pillow speakers were all over the place. Since I've had good experiences with other Anker products, I decided to give this one a try.I slipped it just inside the edge of my pillow case and it stayed in place well. It was small enough that I could keep it out of my way, but still hear it at a low volume. Sound quality is not top of the line at higher volumes, but for a small speaker at this price point it is great. The auto sleep is nice for conserving battery.I can also see me tossing this in my bag when I'm out and about or strapping it to my bicycle when I go for a ride. I've also used it on my desk to listen to podcasts while working from home. I could see it being pretty handy on a paddle board or in a kayak or canoe for those who like music while they paddle. (I prefer silence when I'm on the water) The charging port cover appears to seal well.First impression is that it is worth the price and is a versatile little speaker.

For what this product is, it's the usual superb quality from Anker! Surprisingly heavy bass, I don't recommend placing this on a hard surface while playing heavy bass music at full volume! Great and loud enough to have in your pocket while wirelessly or via aux cable connected to a music or audio electronic. Connects to and plays very well audio from pocket FM/AM radios and loudly and for that reason great to use to extend battery life on a pocket radio for hours while listening through a speaker instead of headphones or earphones.Haven't tested that it's waterproof yet though it's gotten wet like my Anker Soundcore Sport XL without any damages to the electronic while used properly in such circumstances.Very much recommended, and the sound quality is great as it is and appears to definitely be 1.1 channel 'monoaural' sound and plays stereo sound through it without any channel loss. Though I did notice that supposedly this electronic can be paired with another for stereo sound at I guess 2.2 channels that is I'm satisfied with my Anker Soundcore Sport XL that I've purchased some years ago and ongoing has very reliable sound quality and battery charge. Anker appears to definitely be using premium quality Lithium batteries (there's Lithium batteries that are definitely junk) and either way great quality control.

Fits in my car right where I want it. Gives good sound for the money and portable.

While it probably won’t impress your audiophile friends, as a patio/pool/beach speaker this l’il dude ROCKS !! Besides the waterproof/dust proof rating, it’s tiny, portable, has a great battery life and puts out impressive sound. At the highest volume, the sound remains clear. PRO TIP: take care when placing your Mini on a hard, slick surface: the thumping bass, and the slightly rounded back to the speaker can cause it to “walk”…right off the table you placed it on. A towel, or beanbag keeps the migration in check !!Can’t go wrong with Anker/Soundcore !!

Hello. I think this little speaker is a great value for the price of $30. When I got it, I wasn't quite sure what to expect. It came 80% charged wright out of the box which was so cool. It connected to my iPhone 8 with no issues. The buttons were very easy to feel and I learned which button was which in a matter of minutes. Having a bluetooth speaker with tactile buttons is very important to me as I'm blind and some speakers buttons aren't as easy to feel. I really like how loud this little speaker gets. It is very handy to have the wrist strap and I can hang it from my bed post if I want to listen to music at night before bed. It also works very well with audio content that isn't music. There is an app for the blind called bard mobile which allows me to listen to specialized books just for the blind and I can even pause, start, and go forward or back by chapters in a book just by using the play button. The microphone for taking phone calls is also very good as well. Overall a great little speaker for the money.

Anker speaker once again does not disappoint. Great sound and battery life and fits perfectly in my edc bag. Awesome product!

I like to listen to music in the morning and my husband likes to listen to NPR which he blares on Alexa. Obviously with this device, you can hear much better in the shower. I have yet to charge it again and it is easy to use. For the price, you can't beat it!
