I wrestled with whether to leave a review because I never leave reviews and hate taking the time to do so. I feel a little disappointed in this product. I read the 173 max heat and am not so sure it really reaches that. I just returned one that had a max of 140 degrees and while I can say this is hotter, it seems only marginally so. I like the size of it, but that size is slightly misleading. There are at least 2 inches that don't heat on the long side and 3 on the short side of the pad. The actual heated area is closer to 27"by 12". You can feel where the last heat strip ends and it isn't as warm as the strips in the center of the pad. Maybe mine is defective. Based on all of the reviews I really wonder that, but what people feel is hot is very subjective. I have a therapy grade one coming tomorrow with a max temperature of 167 degrees. It'll be interesting to see how they compare. I may keep this for my daughters to use if they need it. After typing all of this I decided maybe I should test the temperature. I have attached the temp from my gun. I took the hottest one I could get after laying on it for an hour and trapping a lot of heat in it. Most readings from all around the pad were actually 10-20 degrees lower than the picture showed. Hope this helps others that are in search of really hot heading pads.

Its great! Soft! Big! Nice color and material and a long cord. But it kept shutting off so I returned it. New one will be arriving tomorrow. New one arrived didn't work either. Kept shutting off. Returned them both picked up, now waiting for my refund!

My husband bought me this heating pad as a gift. I requested it and was so excited to get it, but I hate that it frequently turns itself off when I'm using it. I've experimented with it by turning it on and leaving it on the kitchen island, and the pad stays on when I do that. Maybe I got a faulty one. But it's an odd coincidence that it started turning itself off just outside the return window.

I keep having to order another one because they quit working

Like it but it doesn't cover my Body like a xxx large, shuts off less than 2 hrs.

This heating pad delivered pain relief & the length is great for reaching areas the smaller ones do not. It’s soft, comfortable & nicely made.

Definitely does the job! It gets really hot which is nice. It isn’t very durable though. Overall pretty good for the price!

Loved it though wished only for vibration and could be weightier. Good buy!
