I have used it for about a week and I gotta say that I love it! I had a humidifier before and it gives warm steam only but this one has both options! As soon as I press the on button, the mist comes right out instead of waiting a little like my old one. The water tank also have a big enough hole that I can actually stick my hand in to clean if necessary. It wasn't big enough with my old one so it got dirty on the corners and I just couldn't get the grime off. This humidifier was also so quiet that I honestly didn't hear anything and it comes with a little remote and battery included. Another thing i find great is that if the humidity of the room is high enough, this thing stops and would start again when it drops below the humidity setting that you chose so you don't have to refill the tank very often. What i haven't test it out yet is the warm mist option but it seems to depend on the room temperature. Overall, greatly recommend!

My husband has very high requirements for sleep and can't stand the sound at all. So we watched it for a long time and decided to buy this.Sure enough, we did not disappoint. Its sleep mode is very quiet! It also has a remote control, which is great for lazy people like me.And its very easy to use!

I really like this humidifier, it puts out a lot of mist. The cool and warm mist feature is very nice. I also like how you can direct the mist in different directions. The night light feature is a nice option too and you can turn it off if you don't have to get out of the bed to turn it on. The water tank is nice and large and it makes for easy cleaning. very nice product.

If you are looking for an heat air humidifier this doesn't leave a hot mist despite one exchange and contacting customer care directly they say it will give hot mist if the room temperature drops below 18 but it doesn't so don't buy this if u want a hot mist.

I bought this machine for my daughter room. She has asthma. It helps to track the level humidity in her room it is important for us. Easy to use. I love it.

First, full disclosure: I bought this humidifier to operate specifically inside an orchid and epiphytic plant enclosure. If you are looking for a humidifier for your houseplants, this has been exceeding my expectations. ( I'm sure it works very well as a room humidifier for humans.) So, this review is for all of the houseplant people out there who are perhaps needing specific information on this unit. Yes, this is a long review. Yes, you should read it (even if you are not a plant-person).FYI: I bought the black one. I currently use this in a semi-hydro orchid set up using hydroton and sphagum mosses.PROs* The dark tint of the plastic resevoir tank is sufficient to prevent algae growth, and this is housed directly under grow lights. I have had this set up and operating for about 3 months, no sign of algae and no funky mystery organics or odors. I believe this plastic was treated with antimicrobial products, and no complaints so far.* If you turn it "ON" and only adjust the mist output level, it will operate continously until the tank runs dry and autosafety turns it off. Or, you can turn the unit "ON" and set the timer and mist level output. So, if you need to "cloud forest" your collection in an small to medium enclosed space, this unit can absolutely do it. The on-board humidistat sensor does read at or over 95% on this "ON Only" setting. It will operate WITHOUT setting the internal humidistat. Will this replace a "Mist King" type set up? No. Do my epiphytic roots and leaves look hydrated after running this unit for a few hours? Yes. It's not a substitution for watering. But, they are looking MUCH HEALTHIER vs. hand misting between waterings and fertilizing.Eventually, I want to try automating this with a digital timer. I haven't set that up yet, but I have no reason to think that it wouldn't work for my needs.NOTE: I think the unit will remember settings if unplugged and plugged back in, as I had a power outage and it turned back on to the same setting, so automating via outlet timer seems highly plausible.* The maximum relative humidity control setting is 80%. The unit will turn on and off as set to maintain that level at any mist setting. For most houseplants, 80% is more than adequate. You can set it to a wide range of humidity settings in increments of 5%.*The remote is intuitive, and features all of the settings on the actually unit. Works great! ( Plan on sticking a key fob or velcro to it because it is little and easy to set down and forget where it is. )* Unit is easy to clean. No complaints. I'd probably be even happier using ultra-filtered water.* Tank is easy to fill. Remove the mist nozzle first before flipping to fill. The tank is "flat" on all planes so it is stable. The demineralization cartridge is also the fill cap, which threads effortlessly. No cross-threading jams, no breaking parts. The built-in notched handle makes transporting a full tank very easy.* The directional output options for the mist is great. No complaints. The way this unit is designed, you might be able to easily modify the unit to use flex tubing similar to reptile enclosure humidifiers or towers. Even operating without the nozzle, very happy with rolling mist output.* The blue LED display is easy to read, even in a cloud. Not too bright. I imagine sleep mode is acceptable.* The cool mist IS COOL. Operating the unit does not signifigantly raise the enclosure's temperature. If you have specific temperatures to maintain, this unit operates without throwing off a lot of additional ambient heat.* The unit is QUIET. I strain to hear it, and I leave it operating for hours in my living space. If you start hearing noise, it probably needs cleaning or leveling. If I could give it more stars for quietness, I would. ( I'm the kind of person that can HEAR lightbulbs when they're on. ) This unit is perfectly acceptable levels of quiet for the output.CONs* For the life of me, I cannot figure out how to switch the display from Celcius to Fahrenheit. It says it does, a tech rep replied over Amazon that it does, but neglected to explain how to actually do it. Printed instructions offer no useful explanation and doesn't seem to mention this feature option.* Printed instructions are only slightly better than typical "Engrish" but thankfully intelligible enough.* The demineralization cartridge may be doing something? I still have to clean out mineral chunks and I DO GET THE "WHITE POWDER" ON MY PLANT LEAVES. I know I have extremely hard water, so it could be much worse. I do use a Brita Filter-as-you-pour pitcher to try capturing heavier metals and chlorine.* This unit has a nice long cord, but longer would be even better for my purposes. There's enough slack to make a driploop.UNKNOWNS* I have not tested the hot mist setting. I do intend to find out what the temperature of the mist is leaving the unit. So, cannot say hot mist will be safe for your plants in close proximity. You might scald your plant leaves.* I have not used the aromatherapy tray.* I have not tried night or sleep mode.*** I do think this unit, like ALL HUMIDIFIERS, can leave minute water droplets in the immediate surrounding areas. To be fair, this is a total non-issue for me as the enclosure is suppose to be damp. However, setting this unit on a large cork mat or even a dish drying mat /tray would likely be a good idea if you need to protect floors or furniture.** If you buy multiples of these for your house, I'm not sure if the remotes are individually RF coded or whatever to prevent accidental cross-signalling.And, if you run a humidifier, buy a seperate humidistat to monitor the ambient readings in the room and adjust the unit's settings accordingly. Also, plant-people, don't forget air circulation when adding humidity into your room or grow set-up.Would buy again.

Best one I've ever had.

I use this nightly, now. I love the remote control, and the variety of settings (timer, sleep mode, humidity level, hot/cold, etc). It’s not as quiet as some machines, but the pitch isn’t as high either, so I find it actually kind of soothing. It occasionally burbles, but that’s never caused me to wake up.
