Nice tool kit for the money

It's a nice tool kit but when I ordered it it came as the wrong color, pink instead of the color pictured. I contacted them and they were very apologetic and offered to send a new one and refunded my money. This one came and was another's pink one. Contacted them again and they assured me they would get the right one sent out. I now have 3 pink tool kits that I don't need and am trying to get them to send me a call tag so that I may send them back.

Very basic tools for small fix-it jobs around the house

This set of tools comes packaged in an attractive mini tool box. What you get will help you assemble furniture and fix things to walls (you get a few screws and wall anchors) and a magnetic tool and driver bits. (also a few very skinny screwdrivers). Add in a 16 foot tape measure, a 16 oz claw hammer, an adjustable wrench a box cutter knife and a few other odds and ends and you are ready to handle a few fix-it jobs around the house. In no way is this set appropriate for any heavy duty task.

Easily-identifiable tools!

Sent my kids to college with a small toolkit from IKEA, so this is an “upgrade” box with a bigger selection of tools. And the biggest bonus? The crazy turquoise color on everything means there is no possibility of someone borrowing a tool and not realizing who it belongs to!Nice assortment of stuff here. Like the fact that you get both a multi-tip screwdriver and a set of tiny electronics-type screwdrivers. The rest of the box is pretty typical stuff, with the additional of a nice variety of allen wrenches. One star off for some minor things. First, you get an assortment of screws and plastic anchors, but no nails at all? Next, the handle of the toolbox is weirdly positioned: it isn't centered, so when you hold the box by the handle, it leans forward which makes me concerned about it popping open.

Good tools and they look pretty

This Amazon basics household tool set is just that, a tool set with all the basics. You get all of your standard everyday items like a hammer, pliers, tape measurer, leveler, and more, all in a case to to store them in.All of the tools in the set seam to be pretty well made and made with decent materials and have some weight to them. The storage container is great since everything has its place. I hate having to look for something basic when I need it. So as long as I remember to put them back when I’m done using them then I’ll never have to go searching again! I also really like the color of this set! It gives it a nice pop and being a female I really appreciate that! Why can’t my tools be pretty too?!?!

Lower-End Quality, But Still Useful as a Starter Set To Make Do, Could Use Additional Basics

This set is very basic, nothing fancy but certainly usable and convenient to have around to do some very standard assembly and minor repairs. I would definitely consider adding some more tools/supplies if I was giving this to one of my children getting their first place.Everything advertised is included, and while the tools don't feel bottom of the barrel quality, they are not going to be mistaken for anything other than a starter set in my opinion. The tools and the toolbox have the cheerful pale green/mint that I like and are easy to spot from my other tools (I'm a female) so I don't know how fellas would feel about the mint.I find the toolbox itself kind of cheap-feeling, but because there are so few tools, there's ample room in there to add more at once, or as need arises as time goes by. There is an insert tray, but it's very shallow and not particularly useful. Like most non-tool specialty/general store branded starter tool sets, it's not the best, or even middle quality, but more toward the lower end of quality while still having some usefulness. Thanks for reading.

Basic

This AmazonBasics tool set is pretty basic, no frills, but good for a first set of tools. This is listed as a 150 piece set that comes with a "Blow-molded storage case protects tools and keeps them organized between uses". The case is actually a tool box that reminds me of a small tackle box. It has a carrying handle, and it's just a big empty box with all the tools sitting in the bottom of it, and has a small plastic tray above all the tools that you could use to organize some small parts like screws etc.As far as the organization and such goes it leaves a little bit to be desired since there isn't really any designated spot to put any of the tools. The actual tools themselves though seem good. This is all the basics most people would ever need - a hammer, screwdriver with a whole variety of interchangeable bits, tape measure, a few kinds of pliers, hex keys, a knife... the only thing I'm not seeing that I like to have in a basic tool kit is a side cutter as those come in handy a lot. The tools seem to be good quality.I think this is a good starter set of tools for someone who doesn't plan on doing a lot of heavy duty work with them.If I could change anything I would improve the organization of the box (I personally am a fan of tool cases with designated spots for each tool), add a side cutter, and improve the balance of the box when carrying (when lifting the box the handle is not centered on the box). All minor issues, good first tool set.

Overall LOVE!

I love everything about this purchase! Only thing I would say I wish was better was the quality of the screws and anchors they included! I had to purchase different ones. But the tools are great!
