Bought this hoping a round shape would have a bigger woofer to help extend bass for a good deep sounding portable speaker for white noise for my youngest daughter....it cruds out and oh my the frequency response is rank!!! I'm a lifelong musician who isn't deaf and knows my sound talk....this thing is not the worst sounding speaker out there...but for 60$ you can do wayyyy better and not be as big. It needs to be louder too to be that size. Go get you an Onn rugged. It's small and is under 20$ and will put out just as much or more bass and overall juice as this will and it fits in a pocket.

I bought this speaker after buying another heyday speaker from Target, the sound would always cut in and out for no reason and I assumed that speaker was a dud. This speaker does the exact same thing- The sound gets really scratchy, cutting in and out even when the phone is right within range.
