I purhased this light to add more brightness near my reading chair. It came in an overbox, which included an additional shipping box, which included the packaging box. The light was packaged in styrofoam to prevent breakage of the glass shade. It suprised me how well made this fixture is. It is very nice. The base is heavy to prevent tipping over which I love, love, love. The vertical post consists of multiple threaded rods which are just as easy as pie to turn into a single solid long rod. The horizontal top is allready attached, as is the lamp holder. All that needed then to be threaded in was the counter weight at the end of the horizontal arm. To attach the beautiful clear glass shade I needed to un-thread the shade holder from the lamp holder part, put the glass shade between the lamp holder and thread the shade holder back in. Instructions that came with it are clear and easy to understand. All the wiring was completed and I didn't have to do any wiring whatsoever. I am extatic to have made the right choice to select this fixture.

Perfect for a cute lamp was easy to assemble, and looks so good. I constantly get asked where I got it, and 10/10 recommend with a dimmed blackout bulb.

This lamp is shorter in height than the usual floor lamp but that’s what I needed. I have it sitting on top of a hearth that is 18in off the ground and over a reading chair in the corner of my den. Great style at a great price!

It’s a pretty lamp & great for the price point. People complement it a lot. The metal doesn’t look like a true brass though. Best to just see it up close and decide if it works with your decor. Not sure why people gave it bad reviews for things like a glass shade not doing anything or the glass getting dirty, since those are obvious things that come when you buy a glass shaded lamp! Overall I really like it and would buy it again!

Very heavy and sturdy! It’s serves its purpose. I use it as a bedside light.

Great lamp and goes well with our decor style! Looks great with an Edison-type bulb in it. It is a little shorter than I would have liked, but nothing a little stand couldn’t fix.

I went with the glass shade and would feel better had I gone with the black shade in delivering a more focused light for how I'm using it. I also wanted it to stand out more. Would have liked it to be a bit taller. Otherwise, it's got a nice look and good quality... easy set-up.

Cool modern style and affordable for a brass lamp. It’s very heavy. The arm doesn’t adjust to lift the lamp shade up very much but we don’t do that much anyway.

This is a really pretty lamp but my god the packaging almost made me rage quit and return it. There is a ridiculous amount of tape it was rage inducing trying to get the pieces out. Easy enough to put together but maybe not if you’re hangry.
