Attractive lamp but the glass smashed when I rotated it, I swear if you breathe on it wrong it will break, which is a shame because it very pretty and the brass portion is nice and heavy.

I’ve had it for three years and it’s been the perfect desk/room lamp, but tonight out of absolutely nowhere the hinge on the stand broke and the glass shade went crashing into my wall. Thankfully, none of my tech was damaged and it didn’t happen in the middle of the night and terrify me, but I never touch/adjust this lamp and have no idea why this happened. Could’ve been really dangerous in another situation.

I bought this lamp in store and the picture on it makes it look gold which it most definitely is not. Very misleading picture, wish I had looked at the pictures online because the picture on the box looks nothing like the actual lamp. Doesn’t feel sturdy at all which is disappointing for a lamp at this price. The hinges don’t work well and it’s a two person job to change the angle of the lamp. The glass bowl doesn’t fit snugly on it either. Will definitely be returning.

Do not put this lamp in your home! It is so DANGEROUS! I had this lamp in living room hovering over our couch… but I moved it away a corner because I noticed little by little it was adjusting down on its own. I have a toddler in the home so I did not want it to fall one day on her. Well, I moved it to a corner in the guest room (luckily where no one usually is) and the Lamp fell out of nowhere one night and slammed into the rod. This could have been so bad had I still had it in our living room. This could have really hurt someone. Do not buy this lamp. Terrible quality. Plastic clamps to hold a really heaving iron rod does not make sense!!

We’ve had this lamp for about 2 years. The lamp randomly cracked in half (where the brass pole is) in the middle of the night. That was alarming because the glass shade could have fallen on someone if they were sitting beneath it. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing this and consider it a safety hazard.

Would not buy this again. The lamp is shorter than expected and the material is so cheap and already breaking. I just purchased this and set it up today and it already is cracking and falling apart. the arm barely adjusts it to the height in picture I struggled to get it up. Returning it immediately.

I bought this at a local store. First of all, it's pacakged in the most annoying way. It's styrofoam that immediately breaks apart all over the place and tape. So it's practically impossible to ever repackage and return. And when I got it out and assembled it, I saw that the base was dented. So the annoying packaging doesn't even work. And I don't know if I can return it since there's really no way to get it all put back in the box. You're probably better off not buying Threshold products.

It's so short. It's also flimsy and now I'm nervous it could collapse and shatter at any moment and hurt my kids or pets with the glass. It does not adjust to the height or angle displayed in the photo -- the horizontal bar is exactly that, horizontal. The bulb and shade will be at about chest height if a normal person stands next to it. I would return it but the crumbly styrofoam packaging makes it not even worth it. It'll be on the curb outside my house tomorrow morning if anybody wants it.

Like others have said it’s super flimsy and not well made. The tightening aspect is poorly made, so the lamp arm hangs incredibly low and falls when you attempt to tighten it so it’s taller. It’s also very top heavy, so it leans
