I’m so sad! I got two of these for two granddaughters. One came from Florida to visit and the other lived here in a winter climate. Both terrariums started off quickly but the one here died off in 3 days!😟 the other is now back in Florida growing very slowly. None look like the pretty pictures of full growth as shown. Both girls were so excited and didn’t overwater them, but now they want to pour them out and start over with new stones and seeds hoping for better results😩

This is adorable! My son and I had a great time putting it together and watching the seeds grow. It only took a few days for the taproots to show, and within two weeks, we had to trim the grass. Unfortunately, the USB port for the light broke loose and there is no way to fix it myself. This was not due to roughness as I plugged it in myself every night. Since we got this for my son for Christmas, purchasing it in November, there was no way to return it or ask for a replacement.

I was so excited to get this for my son but was very disappointed when it arrived. The container is very cheap, the single tiny light inside is not very bright, the lid is extremely difficult to get on and off the container, the light only lasts about 3 hours if unplugged, the cord for the light is only about 18" long so unless you plan to keep in on a counter plugged in, or run an extension cord to it, dont bother. It was a cute concept but not well executed.

For $25, I at least expected a half decent jar. The lid doesn’t fit, the plastic is super flimsy so things move around while you’re trying to get the terrible lid on. The battery life is short. This kit has maybe $5 worth of parts in it. You could build one for less. Just get a large mason jar, some cheap aquarium stone, some general potting soil, some decorative items, wheatgrass seeds, chia seeds, and some Battery fairy lights.

It didn't light up....and the plants never grew. My daughter liked planting it and decorating it.....but was very disappointed when we got done and it didn't light up, and nothing grew

My granddaughter (age 6) loves to plant and watch things grow so I thought this would be a perfect Christmas gift. She assembled it with my guidance. The pictures on the ad is misleading. We didn't have near enough blue sand to make a good looking layer. The spray bottle broke before she could get the first layer of soil damp and the removeable stickers were missing. The seeds did begin to grow after 2-3 days. I guess we will see if the night light lasts longer than a week.

The jars these come in are plastic and have smudges and scuffs in the wall.

My boys loved this however, after 3 days of watering the seeds, the plants grew and then mold started growing. We had to eventually throw them out because mold was all in the rocks, sand and plants.

We have had this kit awhile and got it out to assemble total. Sadly although the box contained instructions in 4 languages, none of them are English. Had to just try to figure it out from the pictures. Very disappointing!

Bought as a Christmas gift. Opened it together and no seeds and some of the stickers were missing from the sheet. Not impressed.
