It’s very easy to use and the instructions are straight forward once we charged it and downloaded the app on his phone. It’s lightweight and suitable for a pre-teen. He can see with his phone where it’s flying. I too enjoyed it, taking aerial pictures of my house and garden.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With the Sharper Image Drone Mach (10 inch) being less expensive in price as compared to other similar camera streaming drones, I didn’t have the highest of expectations. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how this little guy performs. The set up and instructions were easy to follow. I recommend taking the time to watch the introductory guide videos offered on the company’s website. It made the first time use of the drone a breeze, as the videos walk you through, step-by-step on how to use the device. The controls on the remote are very responsive. However, when flying outside, even if it is not particularly windy, it is a little more challenging to control. Picture quality is pretty decent, though the video quality is, admittedly, a bit choppy. Also, with needing to recharge after about 6 to 8 minutes, the actual flight time feels quite short even for the lower price tag. Recommended for beginners just dipping their toes into the drone world to help get a better understanding and feel for the droning experience.

It can stream, take pictures or videos. The quality is not perfect but acceptable. It took me a while to be able to control it, however it will get easier with practice.
