Best bang for your buck, right here! Don’t fall for the cheap $20 dollar Bluetooth speakers. It’s a waste of money. JBL is quality and at this price, you get the best bang for your buck with the Flip 5. I definitely will upgrade later with more sound but this is a nice entry level piece of equipment. I work in a warehouse and needed some music to keep me motivated and got tired of playing music from my phone. But I also needed something that’s portable because I move from my desk to warehouse to office in a snap. The Flip 5 gives me the best of sound, just enough bass (would love more but this one’s just enough) the ability to fit in my shoulder bag or pin to my belt clip if I’m on the move. I’ve settled for the cheapy, off-brand models. Be weary of the fake counterfeit stuff they try to sell for much, much cheaper on Facebook and Amazon. This is one of my best purchases on Amazon.

Powerful little bugger! Perfect for shower music and while working outside. Definitely surprised by how good the bass and everything else sounds and how easily it connects to my phone as soon as I turn it on. Highly recommend. Only thing I don’t like is how it lays on its side..wish it would be balanced with the power button facing up, kind of hard to access as is (see pic). Not really a big issue tho, definitely worth it.

The difference between this and the budget speakers is clear as night and day. This offers loud crystal clear sound and the bass is solid if used in small rooms. Because it is small don't expect a boombox. Once issue we found is that after disconnecting the bluetooth to take a call it may not automatically reconnect when you turn bluetooth back on.

Sound delivery is a little less than I expected. Slightly boomy. I wish there were a way to EQ the sound on the unit rather than EQ on the source. That said, its quite adequate for travel and I would recommend it for that purpose. For frequent home use, I'd recommend maybe a step up from this.

When it comes to speakers, it's all about the popular brands, like Beats by Dr. Dre, etc. But this speaker is without a doubt the best speaker I've ever gotten my hands on. When my clumsy self dropped it multiple times, the speaker still works as if brand new and was never dropped in the first place! The sound is great. The durability is insane. But most of all, the volume is BEYOND BOOMING AND LOUD! No static WHATSOEVER! Best money I've spent on a bluetooth speaker, which by the way, has the best bluetooth range!

I have a flip 2, and for years its been great. I've even been told to turn it down:} Now with this flip 5 (and buy two of them} it's ability to be linked together is the BOMB! Like I said "Now I have STEREO! This sound is amazing and the tie rope makes for a great hanger so you don't have to set it on any dirty surfaces. (my garage) And if you can't hang it and have to lay it down you should lay it horizontally rather then set it up vertically to get the best sound! A little tricky to sink, but after pushing the sink buttons a few times on each one of them it works GRATE! Thanks JBL for another great product and Thank all of you who enabled me to obtain them. Love it! Very loud and looks so cool in the turquoise color. So far so good! Def recommend for the price and what it offers as far as crisp, loud sound with very good bass. The battery life is pretty good as well. Keep in mind if the music plays louder the battery will not last as long but for me it typically lasts a full day playing music at a reasonably loud level but not blowing out any ear drums.

I am most impressed by the sound quality that comes from such a small speaker. It is no wonder that this product is rated so high by so many users. Speaker technology has come a long way since the early days when we thought the bigger the better. Now, small speakers put out great sound. I am very pleased with this purchase and I would highly recommend this product to everyone.

I just got this JBL flip5. It was super easy to pair to my phone. It sounds really, really good! - It can be loud enough to have to shout to be herd over it. It has a decent amount of bass for a small(ish) speaker. It is about the size of a beer can and a half. I also purchased a silicone case for protection and ease of carrying. I don't know about battery life yet. I just got it. I bet the pairing of more than one (which is a feature this could do) would be really cool. I'd recommend it.

Great speaker. Sound quality is quite good. Bass is lacking a little, but very clear sound and can get quite loud if you so desire. Bluetooth connection bus excellent. I haven't had any issues connecting my phone with the speaker. Battery life seems to be excellent. I've played this for hours and it's still had juice. Overall, a great value. No regrets whatsoever purchasing this speaker.
