My closet in the hallway does not have lights. What I want is a lighting system which is as close as possible to a built-in lighting system powered by 120V controlled by a wall switch. After some research, I decided to try VIBELITE which has the advantage of being very bright but has the following disadvantages: it uses AAA batteries that do not last long, and it is not convenient to turn the lights on and off using the switch on the unit, especially when I install two lights on desired locations to get best illumination without considering how easy to reach it to turn on and off the lights. Here is my solution which has the following advantages: bright illumination, long battery life, and convenient control. First, I installed two VIBELITE Closet Lights, one on each side of the closet at locations that produce best illumination. Second, instead of using internal AAA batteries, I used three D-batteries (to increase the battery life) placed in two battery holders (the cover of one holder is removed to show the battery). To connect the light units with the external batteries, two quick 2-pin connectors were used (all the above parts are purchased at Amazon.com). Finally, I installed a wall switch (on to a 1-Gang Blue Plastic Old Work Wall Electrical Box bought from Lowe's) which matches other wall switches in the house to control the lights. This solution keeps the advantages of VIBELITE (being bright and low cost) and removes all its disadvantages.

great product for a quick see but not long term. it does light up the whole kitchen nut a section. I left it on for 45 mins before I noticed it was out. I shut it off replaced with more new batteries and the same thing within 30 mins it died. about an hour later I tested it again and there's was light but barely. so the batteries didn't die completely. takes 3 AAA batteries, comes with screws and magnets. also the stickers doesn't stick long. 2 lights keeps falling and all are on the same clean painted areas. I'm gonna keep them but just have to limit my usage.
