I charged both lights to full when I unpackaged them. I placed them under the cabinets with motion sensitivity enabled. Both lights worked like a charm recognizing movement and lighting up. Then this morning, one of the lights fails to come on. One is working like normal now, but the other will not recognize motion no matter how close I am to the sensor. I recharged the faulty light to see if it was a power consumption problem, and it is not. Still fails to light up not matter how much motion there is. A few days later... I believe I understand why the motion control isn't working at certain times. I have these all placed in my kitchen. During the day when sunlight fills the room, the infrared motion sensors cannot pick up my movements since there might not be a change in the infrared spectrum. When the sun goes down, the motion sensors finally work as advertised. Perhaps this can be confirmed by someone else (or the manufacturer).

The light deserves 4-5 stars, the mounting system 0. The fact that an extra set of mounting stickers is included is a sign the first set will eventually fail and the light will come crashing down. Mine did. Luckily, it did not break. The light is bright without being harsh. No annoying LED dots are visible. Being rechargeable is also a great feature. However, unless you can mount this light on metal, you are in for trouble. The light is only magnetized on the ends, not all the way across, so the middle section of the metal mounting strip that comes with it is superfluous if you are mounting on wood. Hopefully I have solved the problem by purchasing 1x2-inch steel mending braces. I screwed the plates (2 per light) to the underside of the cabinets. (Position them so they will correspond with the magnetized areas at each end of the light.) Once installed, the light will snap very firmly to these steel plates and stay there. No destined-to-fail stickers needed. The manufacturer owes it to the consumer to include secure mounting plates.
