Won't stay adhered to cabinet

One of the lights just won't stay in place and keeps falling off the bottom of the cabinet. I will have to get two sided tape to fix. Otherwise I like the lights and the option of auto on with motion sensor or turning them on with switch. Easily releases from magnet to recharge the lights--don't think I will have to worry about charging them because they only come on when I am in the room!

Mixed experience

Initial purchase: Lights are nice and bright. Motion detection is not super sensitive. Hard to figure out preferred direction to point the sensor. Adhesive used to attach metal plate used by magnets on light does not stick to my walls very well. The light has fallen off twice. Switched to using 3M Command strips to mount the lights and this seems to work well. Second purchase: The second set of these that I purchased were broken on delivery (both units). I finally got around to figuring out why this weekend. The wires connecting the from the circuit board to the rechargeable battery were not soldered to the battery correctly (if at all). I was able to re-solder the battery on both units and they now seem to work again. I'm topping off the batteries now.

Lights

I have a bunch of these lights (8-10 right now). They work fine, however the sensor is very hit and miss, some times it works perfectly, and other times they won't turn on without flipping the switch Off and back to "G" Battery life isn't as along as i would like, but i keep getting $10 off coupons when i want more so it almost makes up for it. I would prefer something higher quality.

watch out! falling lightS can cause damage

I moved into a senior citizen residence which did not have sufficent kitchen lighting over the sink and stove and washing machine. I bought a set of 2 lamps and liked them so much that I bought a second set. Then after 5 months, the lamps were falling off the magnetic holders or in one case, the magnetic hanging strip fell as well still attached to the lamp. The falling lamps could break items on the shelf or counter below. Not to mention scaring the daylights out of me as they crashed. THIS IS A DANGEROUS PRODUCT. LIGHTS KEEP FALLING. Now in April. 2021, one unit will no longer take a charge. It lights up when plugged into the charging cable. I wonder how long it will be before the others fail to charge. SO DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Doesn’t last long

They worked great for a a couple of weeks. Then they kept holding the charge for fewer and fewer hours. Now the motion sensor doesn’t work as well, sometimes not at all. We had one placed in our mailbox since there is no light source except a flashlight (which hard to hold and get the mail out of the box at the same time.) when checking mail after dark.

Charging Ports Can Be a Problem!

These lights are really great to light up small closets or pantry spaces. They are easy to install and convenient to charge either through a wall charger or even a laptop. They have two primary problems. 1) The double sided adhesive pads don’t stick well to some painted surfaces like those enamel typically used around the door frames. The lights are heavy enough that the adhesive pads will pull free from the door frame and the lights will fall down. And those pads simply won’t stick to even flat latex painted walls if the walls are textured in any way. Three of the four lights fell I bought down repeatedly even though I used six adhesive pads for each metal mounting strip. I finally had to install the lights on the side of the door frame vertically instead of in an overhead horizontal configuration. Not ideal but still workable. Just irritating. 2) The worst problem with the lights is the charging ports are very cheap with and poorly designed. It’s very difficult that to get the charging cable connected securely to charge the light. I can’t even charge one of the lights I bought because the cable won’t go in. I tried four different cables without success. So that light is basically dead weight after the battery dies. I’ll have to throw it away. It’s not worth the hassle of asking for a replacement. I won’t buy this particular brand again because of the charging port issue. I’d rather pay more for a better design and higher quality light.

Install ?? 😡

What a Joke!!! The installation under the Kitchen Cabinet.. The whole thing dropped probably 5 mins after I put it up.. 😡😡 I like the lights but what were you thinking a strip of metal with double back tape to hold it up.. ?? I like the concept of the light BUT I WON'T BUY ANOTHER... FIX THE PROBLEM BECAUSE I BELIEVE I GOT LIGHTS THAT WERE RETURNED AND THEN SENT TO ME. .. One metal strip was so bent up It still - well both will not hold the light ... So dissappointing...

Item practically begs you to remove stars

Opened up the box and immediatly noticed it shipped with one of the lights turned on. Second thing I noticed was the cheap and ineffective adhesive. I thought well maybe it'll hold. Nope, I found the light on the floor within the hour. I then went to my garage and grabbed my drill, two screws, a screw driver and a piece of scrap wood. I drilled two holes in the magnetic bracket and screwed it to the surface I wanted the light on. Thing is, only time will tell if this'll affect the lights ability to remain magnatized. So far so good. I'll continue to update.

Mixed success

These are easy to install, cast a very pleasant warm but not orange light, and are unobtrusive under a cabinet. I don't think they're at their best illuminating a work surface, as I'm using them, as the motion sensing a little unreliable and turns off much more quickly than I'd like, and the battery runs down quickly if the light is left in the on position. Running a charging cable to the current location would be more visible than I want, so I'm now looking for a very similar light with a battery that lasts longer, even if non-rechargeable. No issues with the mounting failing or feeling unreliable.

There is no way to install under cabinet

Great little light and just what I was looking for however there is no way to attach under your cabinet. The lights came with two items for attachment. The first method was magnet which did stick to the light but my cabinets are wood not metal. The second method was a strip of stick on pads. One side of pad had adhesive the other side had a small cushion. Again no way for the light to attach to the underside of my cabinet. I do not recommend buying this product.
