They work. Would be happier if it didn't have the little fake rachet thing on the side. Lol. They are nothing more than a pare of snips

I snipped a lot of stuff, and I gave it 4 stars because it sometimes goes sideways and the blades go apart, when I try to clip branches that it wasnt made to/are too large for/ it to clip.

5/27/20 update - got a replacement pair after a slight delay with customer support email. The bolt holding the blade sheeres off during use. Was upset when the email form support bounced, but kept trying and did get through to CS. Warranty was honored and a new item was shipped quickly. I am glad the warranty was honored but still wonder about the quality of the screw which broke. Overall, these pruners work fairly well and dont seem to lock up that much. Blade quality seems good. Easy to hold, unlock and use. I have other pruners that easily lock depending on how you hold it. Design is good and I am pleased with the performance. Because of the warranty, I would still be comfortable recommending these pruners. I have not seen the issues other reviewers posted, but did have catastrophic failure on the screw holding the blade. Quick warranty replacement, once I was able to get in touch with CS, so I would say 3.5 star review, which isn't allowed, so 4 stars. I hope the new item lasts longer then the original.

Not too bad. Very sturdy. Handles are very comfortable to use. Not that easy to lock in safe position though.

I never expected to be doing yard work, but moving into a new home will generate new chores and require new skill sets. Anyway, this hand pruner is a great addition to my ever-growing tool collection. They previous people to live here planted all sorts of vegetation, making it almost like a jungle. This little tool is just what I needed to give me an opportunity of neatening the place up without killing my back and hands in the process. It's still a little early to give this a 5 star rating; time will tell how well the tool will perform over the next few weeks.

We have a felco pruner which we use a lot but they are very pricy. We wanted a good standby that we keep handy all the time. My husband says the handle feels a little small but is ‘do-able’

Worth the price IMO. The blade seems sharp and the grip is comfortable. Long term durability is TBD. I have concerns about the comfortable foam grip eventually falling apart, and the blade eventually dulling quickly. After a few snips of some small rose bush, azaleas and crape myrtles, it seems to have lost a moderate bit of it's edge, though thats almost expected to some degree on most any blade out there, even some of the "super steels."

They are easy to use. Do a great job
