This product is hard for me to maneuver.

I bought those clippers to replace another pair, but they keep jamming. I wouldn't buy them again and wouldn't recommend them either.

The cheap rubber around the handle doesn't last long and breaks down quickly. But, once you have to eventually tear them off or put new ones on, the main hardware is solid and good. Mine arrived almost razor sharp, but I find the ergonomic handle is too large for most people, especially women. The handles of the pruners are nearly the size of 2 broom handles together and it makes using them feel uncomfortable and doesn't feel right in your hand. You also have to over-exert the pressure to squeeze them further while closed in order to engage what feels like a flimsy locking mechanism. I can see the lock and everything breaking off in a couple years from the stress. But, they work well, they appear to be made of good quality metal for the price, and I would recommend them with the caveats I mentioned above. My old Fiskars feel much better in my hand.

Item doesn’t cut or spring back well when used.

I replaced my Fiskar pruners but I find that these don’t cut as well. You have to squeeze a lot harder to cut thin branches.

When you prune a branch the spring mechanism does not open the sheets back up. So every timer you cut you then have to open them back up before cutting again. Took forever to prune bush.

handle foam is loose and constantly rotates and comes off the end of the pruning shears. They work fine but I might just buy those from the local big box store next time instead.

These were recommended and well-reviewed, and they are a perfectly fine light duty pruner.Unfortunately, I was looking for a replacement for the Fiskars EA0312 which are no longer available and which, imo, have a couple of features that buyers should consider when comparing:1). The Fiskars has a hard, "rubberized" coating on the hand grips which I find more comfortable with long use that the spongier, foam-like coating of the grip of the Gonicc.2). There is a more pronouced "rest" for the crook of the thumb on the Fiskars which I find to be more ergonomic and a better grip surface compared to the Gonicc. The Gonicc's work fine and I certainly will grab them for light-duty trimming. Maybe it is unfair of me to compare it to a product that is no longer available; however, I think it's fair to say that the much higher-priced Felco pruners would likely be a better choice for those who would use the product frequently or for long periods.

I wear a small glove. My tip-of-thumb to tip-of-pinky span is 8 inches. These clippers open so wide that I cannot get my hand and thumb around them. I can use them like loppers, with one hand on each handle, but obviously that's neither efficient nor what I use secateurs for.

They got dull pretty quick and started sticking after first use.
