Real nice little sharpener . It's especially great for touch-ups on blades that are not really dull . Also good for pocket knives . All in all a great little sharpener that works well and doesn't scar your blade . Recommend 100% .

I am not a skilled knife sharpener and have had difficulty using some other knife sharpeners that require more finesse. This sharpener is so easy to use. Hold the handle with one hand, place your knife in slot #1 and pull back smoothly using light pressure. Repeat 4-5 more times. Continue with the same process for slots 2-4 and you are done! Be sure not to place any of your knives in the middle slot as that is only for scissors. Do not use this sharpener on any knives or scissors with serrated blades.I found that simply using the four slot sharpening method put a very nice edge on my knives. The sharpener also has a whetstone if you want to put a finishing edge on your knife. I am not experienced in using whetstones and frankly I am not sure I want a knife that sharp in my kitchen, but it is a really nice feature for those who do. The fact that it sharpens scissors as well as knives is a big plus for me.I also like the fact that this sharpener is lightweight and has a hanging strap. This would make an excellent gift for any knife enthusiast or cook that likes to keep their knives in perfect working order!

My wife recently complained that I let my kitchen knife get too dull for too long. She isn’t wrong. Normally, I used a honing rod but I felt that I got mixed results out of it, and I was happy to give this knife sharpener a go.The knife sharpener came inside a decent bix, was adequately protected, and came with a decent set of instructions. The latter was a bit of a surprise, because far too often nowadays you receive items with a lack of instructions. But, thankfully, not with this sharpener. The instructions explain how to sharpen your knife. How to use the whetstone (I’m not going to lie, I initially thought that was a misspelling lol), and how to sharpen a pair of scissors. So, after reading the instructions, I gave it a go with my trusty knife. I cut something first, so I got a feel of how sharp (dull) it was before I used the sharpener. I then pulled it five times through each of the four slots as instructed, and tried again. It was almost like going through butter. This sharpener made my dull knife sharp again. As others have mentioned, this sharpener is a bit light, so be aware to keep a firm grip on it when you use it. Also, don’t push and pull the knife through the slots, but pull it through. It is way easier than I expected it to be, and I doubt my wife will be complaining any time soon ;)

I found this knife sharpener to be very easy and safe to use, it is light and it sharpens the knives really well. Instructions are very clear, and you can use it to sharpen both knives and scissors.Highly recommend it!
