no hassle no problems buy again

I was worried about this little fan being able to move the hot air around, but it has done a great job so far. I have used it on two different heat sources, one propane heater and the other a firebox. Obviously it kicked into gear quicker sitting directly on the wood burning firebox, but even sitting above the propane heater it has done a great job. The only thing I could consider a negative, not the fan's fault, is that it seems to be very delicate. It will take me great care of this item to not destroy its blade balance. Hopefully this will be an item, in a world of more and more disposable products, I can use for a long time before having to replace it!

This is perfect to move the air around the room and get the most out of your woodstove. It’s quiet, very efficient, and adds to the look of your woodstove.

We have a fire burning wood stove in our living room that can heat up our house during the winter as well as during the event when we have electric outage on a cold day and night. The steel wood stove gets really hot but the radiant hot air from the stove naturally rises up to the ceiling before it can be circulated to the room so this is where this amazing fan comes in. This fan is now powered by battery or electricity but rather it uses the heat transferred from the stove top surface to convert it to energy to spin the fan blades. As the bottom of the fan gets hot, the fan blades will start spinning, naturally blowing out the hot air from the wood stove towards the front, effectively circulating the hot air around the room. Every wood stove should come with this fan. Highly recommend it if you have a wood stove in the house.

I really solely on a buck stove to hear my berm home so I did notice a difference in the heart distribution when I added two of these. You can't really feel the air coming off these if you put your hand near them but it made a difference in the comfort of the room. Had a wobbly issue with the first one but it was easy to send it back for a replacement. The bonus is that I can tell when I need to add wood to the fire by watching the speed of the fans

the fan went on a mr buddy heater. all these types of fans have lots of negative reviews, including the one I bought, so many negative reviews. I came very close to not buying any of them.. but After reading one of the positives review and I decided to the meyderk one. it is working great and throws a decent amount of air, It is extremely quite, it has made a difference. I have only had it a few days. so I can not comment on the durability I have problems I will leave a another comment

If I could give it a minus star I would. Not because the idea of the product was bad but whoever boxed it up either didn't have a brain or had malicious intent. You could clearly see that a nut or something was missing in the manufacturing because the fan just slopped around with nothing to hold it in place. Quality control clearly non- existant here. Edit Review: I returned this product as per above complaint. They refunded my money, apologized with a "please give us another chance" and sent a replacement free of charge. What company does THAT these days? Five star it is! Happy Grower

Bought two of these fans. They fan is small so doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. This little fan works great for my mother in laws real wood stove in her sunroom to move the warm air around. The warm air comes out of pipe/vent directly behind where fan is sitting on the top of the stove. However, fan does not function (spin) for my husband's and my pellet stove because the heat comes out of the front versus any area on top and thus not able to make the fan circulate as it sits on top of the pellet stove even though there is some warm air going up and around the top area from the front.

Since I do not have a wood stove to set the fan on, I made a simple bracket to attach the fan to the front of my gas heater, works perfectly. I like the fact that the fan is very quiet and turns on and off automatically. I am thinking about getting a couple more fans to set on the stove and blow warm air at different angles to the room. Note the mounting bracket does not screw or bolt to the heater, it uses a simple angle to lock down to the grill on the heater

Exactly as advertised. The Small fan that starts when stove gets hot. Won't blow your wig off, but does move a small amount of air and nice to look at.
