Inadequate Quality control in production.

I have a nail in my tire and my replacement tire is on order. While waiting for the new tire to arrive, I order this pump to fill the air so I can drive to work. The pump works great!! However, there are a few issues. 1. The pipe isn’t long enough. If my tire valve is on top, the unit can not sit on the ground and if you don’t hold it, the vibration makes the unit jumping/shaking and hitting the rim. 2. The battery status isn’t accurate. While reading 2 bars, it doesn’t finish a 30 psi charge. What does the wireless good for if you can’t trust the battery indicator? 3. Power button doesn’t reset after pumping is done. You have to press it twice on the next time that you are pumping so that it will start. Overall, this is a great product with a few implements that is needed to get a 5 stars.

It’s a great little gadget it’s great for your car but it’s not 100% accurate. I set the gauge for 36 pounds and it ended up inflating my tire to 48 pounds. I only knew that since I used a separate tire gauge to check the pressure.

I bought this because I was tired of waiting in line at the gas station to fill my tires, which were down to nearly flat (25 psi/44). This pump is compact and seems constructed well. It has a clear and easy to read backlit display on the front and connects easily and securely to my tires. However, if you want to plug it into a wall outlet, the included DC adapter has a very short cord (maybe 3 feet)... Not a huge deal since most people have a spare extension cord laying around their garage. More importantly, the pump failed to inflate even a single tire from 25 to 40 psi without stopping. I assume that this is a safety to prevent excessive overheating (which is better than just melting for sure), but it is disappointing. I waited a few minutes like the manual suggested but it hadn't cooled much and it shut off again after a few seconds.

Fairly accurate (the sensors on my truck advised I was 1psi higher on all tires than the unit said). Major gripes are that the internal battery is okay enough to fill maaaaybe one tire, but no more than that. Also, the cable that goes to the cigarette lighter that connects to the unit was within an inch of being too short to reach the back wheels of my 2019 Tacoma - so people with larger vehicles should test it out when they first get it to make sure it reaches. Lastly, you can set a target on the unit, but it does NOT have an auto shutoff when it reaches the target. It will continue filling after it reaches the target, so I’m not sure why it has that feature at all.
