It is impossible to disable the "find my phone" feature, at least on Android, I don't know about iPhone. So I'm in an important meeting and my phone goes off because the flimsy button gets pressed all the time! What a stupid feature! I can find my phone with Google, even on silent. Why do I need you to ruin all my meetings? Extremely unhappy and want a refund.

I bought this thinking "great i will never lose my wallet again" I was so excited. Turns out the thing stopped working after the first 2 weeks. I tried to contact the tile support team. Sent multiple reports. Never heard anything back. Wasted my money. However the original tile has served me well for over a year. Slim version just seems to be poorly made.

Arrived broken and doesn’t work, terrible quality and not built well. I know now for a fact this will break more in a wallet, what a joke.

The tile was broken from the get go. It wouldn’t turn on or pair or play a run etc. I bought this as a birthday gift for my husband and was excited it would arrive in time before he had to leave on a business trip. Well the package arrived intact with the tile completely unresponsive. Very dissapoining for such a highly rated product with very little tech to go wrong within the little machine. It makes me seriously question how long the tile will hold up during normal use in a wallet if it couldn’t handle a cushioned USPS delivery.

Something to note prior to purchase: It either needs IOS 8.1+, and the current Android version doesn't work because of a glitch (they haven't finished developing an update that fixes the issues). So, basically, you're stuck to using Apple products for the interim.This thing is only good if you're very near the object where the Tile Slim is placed. I don't need something that locates it if it's 10 to 15 ft away; the Tile is about 2" x 2", and several mm thick, so I will see whatever it's inside of by just walking into the room. It's also pretty big for a woman's wallet, and although it could be useful for keys, it's obviously WAY too big for that usage, and there's no way to attach it, anyway. It would be useful if it had better distance.Overall, I am very disappointed with this product; I had much higher expectations.Note: I received this product for free, in return of an honest review.

Der Tile Slim kommt mit einer Kurzanleitung, die einem letztlich erklärt, wie man zur App kommt. Der Rest, die Installation des Tiles, erfolgt über dann die App.Die angegebene Web-Adresse hat mich zum Playstore umgeleitet, wo ich gleich die richtige App angeboten bekam. Die Installation, Registrierung ist Pflicht, verlief problemlos und selbsterklärend.Der Tile selber ist quadratisch mit den Abmaßen von etwa 55 x 55 x 3 mm. In der Mitte findet sich das tile-Logo, dieses ist gleichzeitig ein Schalter. Eine Möglichkeit zur Befestigung (z.B. am Schlüsselbund) fehlt.Wenn man nun das Objekt der Begierde verliert, kann man es piepen lassen oder sich den letzten bekannten Standort auf der Karte anschauen lassen. Bei mir erfolgt dies mit Google Maps, das Ergebnis ist also genauso gut oder schlecht wie Maps. Die Lokalisierung kann übrigens auch (anonym) durch andere Tile-Benutzer erfolgen, die zufällig in die Nähe des verlorenen Tiles kommen. Umgekehrt kann man mit einem zweifachen Druck auf die Taste des Tiles das Smartphone klingeln lassen, was auch funktioniert, wenn dieses stummgeschaltet ist.Das Ganze klingt zunächst einmal richtig gut. Problematisch ist es, jeder Smartphone-Navigator wird dies wissen, dass die Genauigkeit des GPS recht variabel ist. Während ich zuhause sitze, wird mir ein Radius von geschätzt 50 Metern angezeigt.1. Problem: Dafür reicht mein Bluetooth kaum aus, um diese Verbindung zu überbrücken.2. Problem: Selbst wenn ich es dann schaffe, wird es mir nicht viel nützen - der Piepton ist dafür viel zu leise.3. und eigentliches Problem: Es funktioniert nicht. Ich habe während einer Reise mein zuhause gelassenes Tile als verloren gemeldet, kaum zuhause angekommen hatte ich eine Mail, das Tile sei gefunden worden: 13 km weit weg wurde es verortet. Während es dort auf mich wartet, führt es auf meinem Esstisch wohl eine Art Doppelleben.Die Batterie des Tiles ist fest verbaut und hält ungefähr ein Jahr; nach Ablauf des Jahres (so zumindest die Theorie, so lange habe ich das Teil noch nicht) wird man wohl erinnert und kann sich über das reTile-Programm ein Ersatzgerät zu einem "Bruchteil des Normalpreises" bestellen. Dies funktioniert auch in Deutschland; der Preis wird aktuell mit 15$ (kostenloser Versand) angegeben.Alles in allem eine pfiffige Idee; ich finde das Teil aber recht klobig, den Piepton zu leise und das reTile-Programm für einen Batteriewechsel recht teuer. Und wenn dann auch noch die Ortung nicht stimmt...

Didn't work at all

Complete garbage. Lasted 2 months, what a joke.

Tile came already activated. Product was used. Tile has sent me a new one which didn't work. Now I'm on my third try and waiting to receive a new one.
