Got this for my son to put in his wallet because he keeps losing it. But, he lost the tile before he could put it in the wallet. Oh well - hoping he'll find it one of these days.

I love having a Tile in my wallet. After getting one, I will never not have one again. The app is second to none, as I have friends that have off brand versions of Tile and the apps are horrible. I've had my tile for over 2 years now, and it does show you a warning that you need to replace it after about a year, but I just "rang" my tile from a separate room in our house and it still works perfectly fine. I also like that it appears to be very durable. I have my wallet in my back pocket, so there's always a good amount of weight on it and it has held up very well. After losing my wallet once, I will never be without a Tile again, these things are life savers.

I’ve had a Tile Mate for my keys for the past year and a half or so. It’s super handy. I picked up the slim because it was as a good deal and happened to be on the treasure truck on my way home from work. I also had a recent experience where I thought I lost my wallet and cancelled my cards before I found it in my car. *face palm* Both give me peace of mind when I can’t find my keys or wallet. My mate has lasted 6 months beyond its estimated battery life and is still at half of its life. I hope the slim holds up as well as the mate but we will see.

This thing...I could not emphasize what a saving grace this product is! I am the type of person who loses his wallet seemingly every time he goes out. I am also a Tile customer, bought the original soon after it was released, and loved it! So naturally I was eagerly anticipating Tile releasing a product like this. It does exactly what the original does, but with a smaller form factor. It fits in my relatively thin wallet (it's about the thickness of 3-4 credit cards) and has customizable ring tones. The app is also super easy to use from my iphone. I know the price might discourage some would-be-buyers, but I justify it by considering that if this product prevents me from losing my wallet even once, I am making money (not to mention the time it saves me every morning when leaving the house). I would really recommend this to anyone, as losing a wallet is such a pain in the butt, it's worth the $30 in my opinion

This was my first real tile product. I bought it because I was looking for a simple way to find my wallet. I kept misplaci g it and really needed this. I have to say...it works well. Setup took 25 seconds and I am not a tech wizard. Download the app, press a button and voila!. Specifically, I use this with a minimalist wallet from fidelo. It fits perfectly into it. See my review of the fidelo and I have pics. I only wish this product did not have a predetermined shelf life, but when the time comes and it dies, my hope is technology advances and makes the next one even better. It really is not a lot to spend for peace of mind and tile is a brand I trust.

Before I bought the Tile Slim, I had a really bad problem with misplacing my wallet. (Technically, I still have it.) However, because of the tile slim, it's not been a real problem for me since. I just linked the tile to my phone's Bluetooth (it does require bluetooth) and when I go searching for it, I have to walk around the house until it picks up the signal and "sings" until I find it. I only wish at times it had a stronger signal since you really have to walk throughout the entire room slowly before you can be sure whatever you're searching for isn't in that room. In any case, it does what I asked of it for, and I honestly still want to buy more tiles for my keys or things that I easily misplace. (I'm one of those people.) I'd recommend the tile if you're good at misplacing things, too.

I kept the tile slim in my minimalist wallet (they are easy to lose or leave in your pockety since they are so small and light). I did leave it my jeans pocket and put the jeans in the washing machine and ran them through a wash cycle. When I couldn't find my wallet I looked in the now dry jeans and it wasn't there. So I added a shirt to the washer and went to my tile app on my phone to find the tile. The app didn't turn green anywhere in the house until I walked into the laundry room. I pressed on the find button and could here the app in the washing machine. It was still working after having gone through two wash cycles. :>)

My husband lost his wallet in the house about once every few weeks until I bought this slim tile. The day it arrived he complained that he did not need a tile to find his wallet. He lost his wallet in the house the very next day and was able to quickly find it. We have not had to search the house for his wallet ever since. I bought the tile slim over a year ago. It has been worth every penny I spent on it.
