I like the way it smoother and adds volume to the hair. You need to be careful to switch between the high setting and cool setting, otherwise the hair gets too hot. The tool is heavy and hard to change settings during styling to avoid burning the hair. Having said all that, I use it everyday and my daughter came home for the holidays and used it in-place of her blow drier and straightener. She is getting one for herself when she gets home.

EDIT: don’t waste your money. I bought mine in May 2020 and it’s already completely dead, won’t even turn on and of course my return and support widow has closed. What a joke. Just buy the reckon one for soooo much cheaper.. Amazing product, dried and styled my hair in less than 10 minutes. Definitely a mommy must have. I feel like I’ve gotten a blow out everytime i use it and i don’t know why, but my hair lasts longer between washes without getting really greasy. Love the texture and volume it gives my hair, that a straightener does not. This is an all In one product!

I had been thinking about growing my hair longer and COVID-19 made it a decision I didn’t have to make. But that meant more time with the round brush and hair dryer and never quite getting the sleek look I wanted. Saw a review of this dryer and the Revlon one and decided to pay the extra $20 to get Hot Tools. Based on the reviews and the subtle differences it was well worth the money!! I immediately washed my hair as soon as I got it, towel dried (highy recommend an Aquis towel. I’ve used them for many years and it takes towel drying to a new level.) I used the dryer on low (as I saw recommended in videos) and can’t believe how fast it dried, how easy it was to use, and what a sleek, smooth look I got! The knob at the end makes it easy to turn the dryer in your hands but I was easily able to rotate it using 2 hands on the handle part. It’s rather lightweight despite it looking like it will be heavy and because you’re only holding one thing at a better angle rather than a dryer and a brush it doesn’t get heavy while using it. I always thought my hair dryer by itself was pretty fast (partly because of the Aquis towel) but I think this was even faster with no shoulder aches, heavy arms and with better styling! I don’t write reviews but I was so impressed with this dryer/styler I had to write a review. My only complaint - no way to hang it. I like to be able to hang hair tools. But I may be able to find a simple way to hang it. But a built in hanger loop would make it perfect.

I bought this for my wife as a gift. I read reviews and there are other ones that are similar for cheaper... but i got the better on because she deserves the best. She told me that this is so much faster for her to use when getting ready in the morning. she said that it takes her 5-10 minutes on her hair now, when she used to spend about 30-40 minutes before. that seems worth it to me and she loves it.

Soy de cabello crespo y grueso y esto es una maravilla me ayuda en cantidad a reducir el tiempo que me paso blower realmente te lo recomiendo. Yo me tarde 15 minutos en cepillar lo y mi cabello me llega a la cintura imagínense las que tienen keratina en 5 minutos ya terminaron.. Espero esto les ayude en su desicion de realizar su compra.

Love this Hot Tools One Step hot brush. It dries your hair, styles it and leaves it smooth and shiny. Best hair drying tool I’ve ever owned. It does get quite hot on high so I use a lower setting. I use a heat protectant before drying and love the results!

I’m in awe of this product after just the first use. I have very curly hair 3c/4a and never straighten it simply because of the time and power it takes. What used to take me hours, including all the breaks to rest my arms, it took me 10 minutes with this! The size of the barrel really helps with dry time because you can cover larger sections. On high, it gets really hot and smoothes the hair with each pass. I like my hair bone straight so I went over it with my holy grail flat iron and that took me 1/4 of the time because my hair was already pretty straight and detangled. I will recommend this product to any one that’ll listen.

I have chest-length really thin & fine hair. I wanted to try this to help boost volume and to stop doing the old “head upside down & blow dry” trick. This thing is amazing! It doesn’t dry SUPER fast, took me about 20 mins total but the results are amazing. Super soft, shiny, can comb your fingers through it kinda hair. Feels like I just had a salon blowout. I used the low setting as to not damage my hair & I couldn’t be happier. Given I’ve only used it once, I’m hoping it lasts a long time!

Yep. Tried a lot these past few weeks just to see, sent some back and this is a winner. I also tried some of the knock offs with little luck and then decided to go to the next level just to see. I love it. The choices were very overwhelming and China does a great job of emulating so it was tough. I will repost in a few weeks just to be sure.
