Carefully following the routine since February (14 weeks in). Running sessions twice weekly at intensity
Brad
Tackling hereditary hair loss takes time with this device. Committed to twice-weekly treatments since December, initial progress was slow. Two months in, changes weren't noticeable, requiring patience. Complete scalp shaving before sessions temporarily highlights thinning areas.

This product is okay! I can see a huge difference on my legs (see picture) and arms, however in my under arms and "other areas" I don't see much difference. I also did not realize there is not an unlimited amount of flashes.

I started using my nood on 12/12/2022 on my underarms only, at 8 weeks i did see results, but then it started to come back, i have been using 4 times a week on the highest setting and i am still not hair free, i started my legs, but i imagine that will take longer. I am still doing my underarms i guess until i have no more flashes left. I have the 2.0.

I'm really torn. I wanted to love Nood. Maybe part of me likes it. But overall, it's been more time consuming than shaving (with no white light at the end of tunnel in sight) and minimally effective. As someone with pale skin and dark hair who used it religiously according to the product instructions (Type A perfectionist over here!)...I was really expecting better. I've now been using it for approximately twice as long as they say you should need to, though after the initial 8 weeks I dropped down to once a week. I'd love to decrease it even more but I'm skeptical I'll be able to and maintain the degree of results I have seen. First, some pros: -The hair on my leg has shown the most improvement. Over the summer I still think I'll have to shave about once a week (what I was at before starting Nood) but it's definitely less hair that I'm shaving. And I would definitely feel less self-conscious if I wound up wearing shorts or a bathing suit without shaving first. -My bikini line is also definitely less hair. It seems like it's starting to grow back now that I'm doing it 1x per week vs 2 but I'm hoping that doesn't continue to worsen. -It's a LOT less expensive than salon laser hair removal. -It's relatively painless. Sometimes my device seems to overheat/get extra hot and will burn my skin if I don't let it cool down for a second, and it can shock you if your hands get wet or sweaty, but as long as I'm mindful of that it's really fine - even on really sensitive areas. The cons: -It's SO tedious. I dread my weekly session at this point. Between having to shave, exfoliate, use the device, put the aloe on after...it's a solid 1.5-2 hour endeavor; and while listening to a podcast can make the time go by a bit faster, I constantly wonder if it's even worth it. It's definitely faster to just shave. The actual device usage part itself probably takes 40min. -Plus, since this has not eliminated the need for me to shave...I'm still shaving, at basically the same frequency that I was before. So I definitely have not gotten to throw away my razor and shaving cream as the ads say. -It hasn't seemed to work at ALL under my arms or on my labia, even at full strength (7). -The device seems cheaply made. The plastic around the light window is actually melting (which started after only 1-2 uses and just keeps getting worse). -For every flash, the counter goes down by 2. Every time. So while it says it guarantees 600,000 flashes it really only guarantees 300,000. That's still a lot, like I said I said I've been using it for like 4 months now and I'm still above 500k flashes left. But a little misleading. Overall...I mean, give it a shot if you have the money to spend. Some people seem to really love it. And it's made some difference for me, though TBD if those results persist over time. If I'm stuck doing 1-2hr treatments every single week in order to maintain the small amount of results I have, it definitely wasn't worth it.

It works in specific areas, especially where I have finer hairs; a lot more to be desired in the areas I want it to work. The areas with thicker hairs are where the product isn't as effective. Areas where it worked: arms, thighs, and upper lips. Areas where it's about 80-90% effective at removing hair: armpits and lower legs. Area where it's about 50% effective: bikini area. These are the results I've noticed after using it the recommended amount of time. I'm continuing to use it 2-3x weekly until I see it getting closer to 100% removal of hair in the underarms and lower legs areas, but based on the rate of change it's going to take months to get there. I've pretty much given up on the bikini area.

I've only been using this for 2 weeks so I can't comment on the effectiveness yet. My review is on the clarity of the instructions. Nowhere in the instruction manual that I can find does it state to go over each area 3 times. However, there is a treatment tracker card in the box that does say this. Which I obviously didn't look at closely until after my fourth treatment. I tried to verify this info on the website, and it is buried deep in some blog post, not it FAQ or anything. Why doesn't the instruction manual include these full instructions?

This was a Christmas gift and I've been using it consistently since. So 23 weeks of shaving and 'zapping' my hair twice a week and still have tons of hair to spare. The only place I've noticed a huge difference is my arms. I'm able to do once a week and skip a week if I don't mind a little hair. But my underarms, bikini line and even my 'moustache',which wasn't that bad to begin with, don't seem to want to quit growing hair. I understand the underarm and bikini line hair is coarser and thicker but I thought by now I'd see more of a difference.

Been using as instructed for five months with limited results. Has worked better on my underarms vs my bikini line

I've been using this product for almost 3 months now and been very consistent. I have about 20% less hair on one of my cheeks. I haven't noticed any additional hair loss in the past month. I'm not seeing any further results now. I was very excited when I saw results but now I'm losing hope.
