I have been using this ink for almost 3 years. My printer is middle of the road and makes ok copies. The ink when printer pictures is also middle of the road. It fades over time even when I use Kodak picture paper. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

High performance chip and low performance wifi card

I have used this style cartridge only twice, as have not had the printer that uses this, very long. My first impression was the colors were not as good as the old type. However the second set does seem to be better than the first set. With this style you cannot see the ink level in the cartridge, even though the printer does tell you the availability. It is easy to put in. There ae only two cartridges to deal with instead of several. As I do not need anything to be extra bright, sharp, or whatever, this is just fine for my needs. Do wish ink was a bit cheaper though. Overall, satisfied. Only had one other printer, and it used HP ink too, which was fine. Am not an aficionado over these things, just know if it works for me or not, and it does.

When I bought the new printer I had not adequately researched the cost of ink cart refills. This cost is too high.

Colors are great, the quality of the product is very good, but the cost to print is too high.

Original cartridge that came with the printer did not even print 25 pages before it dried out. Very disappointed in HP 64 cartridges

Well I bought this ink and it lasted for maybe fifty copies. I do love my hp printer but I definitely need xl cartridges instead of just standard cartridges. Otherwise good product and quality when printing. Wish it gave more ink. I would use the ck again just not the standard cartridges.

I buy this ink all the time. Normally great, for some reason, this ink isn't coming out as dark as usual

Even though we only print partially filled text pages, the ink doesn't last very long. We won't switch to automatic ink from HP because it totally wrecked out last two HP printers in less than 3 months!!!!
