I used this without layering snail mucin beneath like I do when I use a different moisturizer and that was no comparison to the level of moisturization I get from this. No need to put an oils on top, just soft, fresh skin. Even after using retinols I was smooth and un-irritated. A little goes a long way and it smells so fresh and clean, reminiscent of cucumbers and the sea.

This lotion is a bit heavier than the others I use, so I only use it at night, but I really like it. I was having some dry skin issues and this helped.

I've used it every night since I've gotten it(roughly 5 days?), and I swear my skin texture feels smoother and more even! I use it typically around my eyes, cheeks, and jawline; with any excess going on my forehead. The following morning, my skin still feels soft and hydrated. There's no strong smell or sticky texture, so that's a big plus for me!

I tend to prefer using thicker creams for my morning routine, but I was pleasantly surprised by Mermaid Moisture. The formula was as moisturizing as advertised, as well as beautifully fragranced. And I needed only a small amount to cover the full of my face! (Far less than I expected, to be honest. Which was a happy surprise, as I was initially a bit wary of the price vs. bottle size.) Though the lotion could be described as being on the "slimier" side, it soaks into the skin incredibly quickly and leaves no residue, so I personally don't mind its texture. To that end, I think it might be better described as "thin" or "light." The only thing I find slightly disappointing is the design of the bottle; one of my favorite things about Winky Lux is how cute its designs usually are, and this bottle-- while a lovely color-- is very plain. But that is a superficial complaint for sure, so five stars all the same. :)

This light, yet refreshing face lotion is so hydrating! My face was so dry after several days of skiing in the cold Colorado mountains. The Mermaid Cleanser and Mermaid Moisture Hydrating Face Lotion revived my skin so quickly. I was amazed, and I love how the lotion feels on my face. Love, love, LOVE.

This moisturizer leaves me hydrated and glowing! The smell is very spa-like, and the consistency is perfect. If you are very dry, this is a must have!

I love the Mermaid Moisture Face Lotion! I have combo/oily/acne prone skin and my skin loves this! I have not had any breakouts since using this and I love how supple this makes my skin look and feel. I love that this lotion had a cooling sensation to it which makes it perfect for summer (or if you're like me, anytime because I love the feeling it gives). The lotion has a light, cucumber-like scent that is very fresh - I really enjoy it! It looks and feels amazing under makeup as well.
