I was really surprised how bland this coffee tasted. I don't know if was bad beans, too fine of a grind, or what, but I'm rarely dislike coffee (unless it's been sitting in a pot all day). I even tried this on a friend's Keurig, and he had the same opinion. I've had Brooklyn Beans coffee before and it wasn't at all anything like this.

You cannot beat the price for 40 k-cups and it is not an over all bad coffee but just disappointed that even when brewed strong it is not a cinnamon flavored coffee which was what I was looking for.

Wow in such dismay. First off, I am a fan of the Brooklyn Bean brand. I've had several of their flavors. I am particularly fond of the cherry cheesecake. Secondly, I am a huge fan of red velvet....literally red velvet anything so when I heard that Brooklyn Bean had a seasonal flavor of red velvet, I made it my purpose in life to find it, order it, and consume copious amounts of it.And then, I finally received a box of these delectable k cups. I was very disillusioned by the mere concept of its proposed taste. Initially brewing it, there was no aroma of red velvet or even any form of chocolate or any idea that this coffee was supposed to taste like red velvet. I chalked it up to maybe its taste will make up for its smell. Again, a huge let down. The coffee tasted as unflavored as a regular cup of Folgers.But, because I am a red velvet fan, I gave it a second chance. This time with a clean palette but only to end up deceived by such nonflavor foolery. This did not resemble red velvet at all. There was no taste, no smell...heck no change in color (which I didnt expect). I was hoping for something but this was a complete miss for me.

I ordered 2 different flavors of this coffee at the same time and was expecting great things based on other reviews. Unfortunately, I got 2 boxes of k-cups that can't seem to make a cup of coffee without filling the coffee with grounds! Ick ... I like strong coffee, but I don't like it so strong I have to chew it!I'm stubborn and both boxes were 40 count, so I've tried cup after cup of both and made it about 1/2 way through both boxes. I think I've gotten 2 ground free cups of coffee from each box - maybe, and while the coffee was good (once I could finally drink some), it wasn't so great that I want to keep rolling the dice on it by buying it again! I've tried everything and I read the company's response to another customer with the same problem, but excuses do no good, especially considering the amount of money these coffees cost.

I was looking forward to receiving this variety pack, but after trying several of the coffees, I found that I was greatly disappointed. Yuck. Every one that I tried tasted extremely similar - watery yet bitter. The bitter undertone was not at all pleasant. I love coffee and do not feel that I am exceptionally particular, but these truly tasted horrible. I will not order them again.

I ordered this variety pack ahead of a 2-week long vacation, during which I was hoping to enjoy sipping some high quality coffee while reading the paper, thinking of little else. Despite the broadly positive reviews, I was quite disappointed with Brooklyn Beans. The non-flavored versions all tasted very similarly, from the Espress-O to the Breakfast Blend, despite that the roast was dramatically different (or supposed to be different). The flavored versions were marginally better, but only because the flavor masked the underlying coffee. I typically drink 2-3 cups per day, but I gave up on this stuff after two days, instead buying some darker full bodied Starbucks Italian beans, and enjoying them with a traditional drip machine.

I like the coffee but it will not work in my keurig 2.0 coffee maker. The regular pods work but the coffee maker stops and gives a needle clogged message with the decaf

I ordered The Brooklyn Bean Variety which was to contain 40 K-Cups. There were only 36 enclosed. I was unable to submit a comment to the seller directly. I don't know if either were done on purpose.

Says Fudge it doesn't even taste like coffee or chocolate or anything but maybe mud

I have purchased 4 boxes never any problem the last one was not decaf.I will order a different brand elseware.
