Stale Coffee

I bought a so described "gourmet" variety pack (40 pods) of Keurig compatible coffee pods. I tried a few flavors. They were perhaps fresh and gourmet once upon a time. My taste buds said they were stale. Ruined my morning. Not a good experience. Why do you sell stale coffee?

gave it a try

I read all the damning reviews of this product, but the response from the supplier was so swift and nice that i decided to give them a try feeling that they would have to correct their problems and put out a superior product. Not the case. As described in other reviews, the coffee is not good and tastes like instant coffee. Can hardly taste the hazelnut flavor.

Use to be great, now blah

We used to order Brooklyn's Beanery a lot. We took a little break but decided to go back to them. Except this recent box tasted much different and all the K- Cups leaked out the grounds. Very disappointed. Think I will go back to my starbucks.

Worst coffee I have ever purchased

I had to take a moment to write this review since I only bought the Brooklyn Bridge blend based on favorable customer reviews. I cannot understand what anyone likes about this coffee. I had no problems with exploding k-cups as described in other negative reviews. The price was right, but the taste was absolutely awful! I will never buy Brooklyn blends again. My husband refers to this coffee as "Folgers." It leaves a horrible aftertaste in your mouth and has put me off drinking coffee at home until these 50 kcups (what was I thinking?) run out. Luckily my husband has been using them simply to avoid throwing them out. Coffees we both like include Starbucks Kenya and Pike's Place, Kona, Emeril's bold, Tully's (most blends) and Donut Shop brand coffees. This blend was so bad I had to brush my teeth again to get the taste out of my mouth.

Not very good at all

Granted, I'm a coffee lover and was looking for a robust and satisfying coffee for when I needed it in a pinch. This did not come close to meeting that requirement. Epic fail. I ordered these for the office and nobody liked them. I'm shocked by all of the positive reviews, apparently there are a lot of people with really bad taste or they're incentivized reviews.

Something is wrong with this box. First box of cups that wont fit in our Keurig coffeemaker

We have these k cups on subscription so it isnt our first order. However this box will not fit in our keurig coffee maker. Same coffeemaker, not a new one. We have tried to open the cups and pour the ciffee into the plain plastic cup but its messy. I went out to buy a can of coffee this morning and filling the plastic cup.

faulty k-cups, stale coffee

I would not recommend this product to anyone. The coffee tastes old and stale, like most coffee does after it sits around for too long. Maybe these were in a warehouse for six months before they shipped, but I started using them the day after I received them earlier this week, and they tasted stale from day one. I use k-cups at work for my morning cuppa, and I've already destroyed the original packaging, so I've been choking them down in hopes of finding one or two good cups in the box.My last mouthful this morning gives the phrase "choking them down" a whole new meaning. No exaggeration---the filter must have failed and what appears to be most of the contents of the k-cup are now sitting in the bottom of my mug. I've probably used 500 k-cups in the last few years and never once has this happened with any other brand. This is the worst k-cup I have ever had the displeasure of drinking. They're going in the trash.

Weak with Little Complexity -- Avoid this Brand!

Very unimpressed with this brand of K-cups. Got the variety pack (on special) and am using it on the smallest cup setting but it is extremely weak with no complex coffee notes whatsoever. Think weak tasting "convenience store" coffee. Even the "extra bold" versions were weak and lacked any coffee character whatsoever. The "flavored" versions were strange tasting.Just to give you an idea of what I believe is good coffee in K-cups, my favorite are the Daybreak "breakfast blend" by Caribou that is strong, lots of character (even some hints of chocolate notes) yet low in acid and no bitterness. That is what I would consider a very good 5-star coffee. Gevalia and Caribou Columbia K-cups are also high quality K-cup coffees.Sorry I ordered this one but I won't be making that mistake again! I have no idea why anyone would gives these Brooklyn Beans K-cups anything over 2 stars, but to each his own, I guess. Perhaps some people like extremely weak and tasteless coffee?
