This mixer is so beautiful. I was lucky enough to grab one for $100 off and let me tell you it wasn’t easy! I’ve always wanted a Kitchen Aid mixer and this sure was a dream come true.

This is my 2nd kitchen aid stand mixer! I received my first one 45 years ago as a wedding gift (it still works, too, but wanted a larger and more powerful one to make breads etc ). This took a little getting used to, the attachments seem a bit awkward to put on. One odd problem I encountered was trying to remove the bowl after mixing bread dough. It would not release and I couldn’t get it off. My son tried too and it wouldn’t budge. I finally googled and found a YouTube solution to put a warm towel around the base. It finally came loose! Really frustrating and weird problem I never encountered with my old kitchen aid. Guess they don’t make them like they used to.

I’ve heard the hype about this beauty. Typically it takes me ages to get dough ready for bread, pies etc... I am hoping this gem will cut the time in half. Husband is excited too since I can make more pies <3

Matte forest green. Need I say more? The minute I saw it I had to have it. (I was happy to see when finally decided to buy it, it was on sale :) ) I'm not even sure what I'll make with it but it looks beautiful sitting on my counter. ;) Like others have said the Hearth & Hand insert is missing, but I've emailed them so hopefully Chip and Joanna knock on my door soon to deliver it.
