Great for traveling and convenience but…….

The magnetic seal for this battery pack is fantastic, it is very convenient for traveling, but if you have a job where you have to use your phone a lot this would not be the charger for you. I work delivering so I have to use GPS all day long this battery pack super convenient however during the daytime here in Florida it gets very hot, and when it is hot, the battery charges extremely slow. I had my iphone die while this charger was attached and the charger had lots of juice (over 80%). At night, when i’m delivering, this battery pack is flawless. The iphone software works perfecly, giving you the life of both your iphone and the battery pack. I realize most people dont use GPS all day long on their iphone, so i feel giving 4 stars is fair. Once they can get a battery pack that charges at 7watts or more instead of the current 5 watts(when its not hot, i believe when hot it runs closer to 3 watts) i will be happy to give it 5 stars because i love everything else but the charging speed

Good "Grab and Go" for extra power

I've had this since August 9th and use it a few times a week This will not give you another full charge on your device, it depends on which iPhone 12 (now 13) you have. My 12 Pro max it will get me about 50-60% of an extra charge. Thermal management is aggressive, if you're doing anything heavy on the device and it's moderately warm out, the battery will not charge your phone. I checked with Apple support and this was expected. It's a little annoying the battery will stop charging your phone at 90%, you can disable the limit and go to 100% but I would not suggest doing this. I let it charge my phone from 75% to 100% and the battery pack went from 100% down to 30% which wasn't worth it. ---------- My take away from owning the battery, it's nice to have and grab when you know you need more life or don't feel like getting plugged into an outlet when moving around your home/space, but don't expect it to be a game-changer doubling your battery life. I treat it more like an accessory I grab on the go like my headphones for my device.

All fashion no function

I give it 3 stars because if you don’t use a case, pop socket, or have minimal use of your phone then I can see how it would be functional for you. If those don’t apply to you then look elsewhere. I used it for about an hour, and it was below 20% and it only was able to charge my phone about 10%. I also tried to see if I could go from >10% on my phone to full charge and it gave me about 70%. If you are heavy on your phone usage then look elsewhere for an external battery pack. You’ll be paying for the Apple name and nothing else.

it’s ok

i think the one i got is defected because it doesn’t hold a charge. maybe it’s for all i’m not to sure. every time i take it out the charger, my phone drains battery while this stays at 100%. I looked it up and i guess i’m not the only one having this problem but i guess other reviewers are saying it works well with their phone.

Very good-looking power bank

Advantages: good texture and comfortable. Charge the phone directly for 5w, the temperature is very low. The charging cable is connected to the iphone battery pack to charge the phone at 15w. If you connect the charging cable to the phone, the iphone battery pack will be reverse-charged. When the iphone battery pack charges the phone to 91%, it will automatically stop charging to prevent the phone from overcharging. Devices that support IQ magnetic charging, including Apple's airpods (with wireless charging function). The magnetic attraction is very powerful, but it does not require a mobile phone case or a mobile phone case that supports magsafe (the magnetic attraction only supports various models of iphone12 and iphone13). Integrated Apple MagSafe Charger function. It is easy to walk away by sticking it on the back of the phone when going out. Disadvantages: expensive. 1460mAh can only give the iphone 13 pro max 30% more power, so if you want longer battery life like me, you can only buy a few more. The battery pack of iphone 13 pro max plus is too heavy to operate for a long time. If you don’t have a phone, you cannot check the battery pack level. The green light will not light up for a long time after being fully charged, it will only light up once. Charge Apple Watch wirelessly.

One MAJOR flaw! Can’t charge your MagSafe Battery pack with a MagSafe Charger!

When someone at Apple headquarters designed this thing, I feel it was either because they knew the 2nd generation would have the ability to charge your new MagSafe battery pack with another. Mag safe charger or even a wireless charger, so why not sell garbage to the die hard apple fans first then sell them another second gen a year later for even more money, I can guarantee you it will sell for $129 for the next generation. This is of course my guess but I’m pretty sure it will happen. At the moment you have to plug the damn thing in, exactly what they have been trying to steer away from with all their new phones so WHY sell this crap? Another flaw - takes FOREVER to charge. I’m not happy but I’m one of those die hard moron apple customers that needs this.

ios update REQUIRED for a MAGNET BATTERY PACK. one word. RIDICULOUS

(short) is durable, light, “convenient”, elegant, new.. perhaps too new for even apple then selfs to figureout.. (long review) this thing is a joke to be called an “apple accessory” its a cool gimmick, but doesnt even work properly half of the time. i updated to 🤓 15.0.2 latest improvements to it and it doesnt even want to charge 1 out of every 10 ish times randomly says its working fine but ot just drains the iphone and it makes my mini bounce between percents!! seriously sat in my office as a paper weight for a months before apple forced me to update because they stopped supporting apple pay……. damn you i need that, so needless to say. if you want a wireless charger that can snap on the back of your phone i’d look into ANKER or assorted brands as they offer the same product for a fraction of a price.

Overpriced, very dissapointed

I typically love all the apple products but this one is definitely the one I've been disappointed the most. it won't give you a full charge and also the charging power is mediocre, for a product that costs $100 you won't get the best value for that amount for sure. Also, in one occasion, in the middle of charging mine powered off my iPhone, it was a bit frustrating. I hope it won't be a constant issue. The only advantage is that you don't have to carry any cables, for that reason alone it may be worth something but not enough to spend $100. I feel a bit ripped off
