Nice fun gadget but I have a couple of concerns. The "on" light is very dim and hard to see in the bright light of the kitchen. The plates are not removable for cleaning. There is no on/off switch. Function is accomplished by unplugging the unit. Fun size output for the kids - nice bite sized. Tried it with brownie mix and tater tots with great results.

Button covering light broke within a few uses. It's very messy (grease overflows as cooking, so a plate must be placed underneath) however, it makes great chaffles - chesse/egg waffles.

Cute and not being a hearty eater, this size was perfect for me.

I love making these waffles for my grandson but the Teflon on the interior of the waffle maker is coming off. I use cooking spray with each use and hand wash, no dish washer but Teflon is coming off. So sad.

Was stoked to get two pumpkin mini dash waffle makers (orange or course). The one I received works fine. I wanted to complain to Amazon, about receiving only one maker, but I was told to contact Dash. complicated website- My time seemed more valuable. Probably would have ordered the one standard waffle maker instead of he two for one pumpkin maker if I had known I would only get one.

Chaffles don't stick to the waffle iron, so don't make the mistake of oiling the surface before you make them. These things leak grease onto your counter just from the melted cheese. I replaced these with the larger size, and there are channels in the bigger size that catch any overflow so that you don't make such a mess. Also, be very careful or you may burn your fingers.

I thought I was ordering a pumpkin colored mini waffle maker to make Chaffles with, but was surprised when I used it the first time that instead of a waffle pattern on the bottom plate there is a pumpkin. Now I don't have a problem with pumpkins, except when it's where a waffle pattern should be! Chaffles are a wonderful replacement for English muffins on Keto, and the waffle pattern mimics those wonderful air pockets we all love on our English muffins. The pumpkin face doesn't give you that result. Luckily I was able to pick up a barely used traditional designed Dash at my local Thrift store to replace this goof!
