For a small vacuum it is powerful and sometimes it's difficult to push which might make it hard for a very elderly person. But it's still much easier to use than my clunky canister vacuum with the long hose.

The suction is good BUT it won't stand up on it's own. Have to lean it against something OR take the handle/waste bin off and hook to lower section to get it to stand. Terrible

My other vacuum picked stuff up, but I had no idea how much it was missing till I used this one. I had to keep stopping to empty it. Annoying but worth it. I have two dogs and this vacuum is making such a difference.
