Love this curling iron! I read so many reviews, and was so torn on what size to order for my hair, tapered or not tapered...decisions, decisions! I originally ordered a 1.25'' curling iron and it worked well, but becaus my hair is shoulder length it was hard to get the ends of my hair all the way around the barrel without burning my thumb knuckles! Despite what some friends said about a tapered barrel and how they didn't like it too much, I returned the 1.25'' and tried this one instead. It's so much easier to work with for shorter hair, and curls in no time. My curls held up all day, too, without any kind of spray. I have somewhat thick, naturally wavy hair that never held curls for a long time when using a curling iron. A curling iron also makes it look like you have one giant curl in your hair...the curls somehow clump together...this iron gives you beautiful curls. Highly recommend!

My daughters hair is very thick and long so it usually doesn’t hole curl. With Monday hair spray and this curling iron we were able to give her beautiful bouncy curls, without the crip from the hold bar. Definitely recommend this iron

I love this curling wand. I used it for the first time this morning and managed to make some cute beachy curls! I've used a traditional curling iron for years and didn't find this difficult to use. But, I could see how there might be a learning curve for some. I didn't use the glove and didn't burn myself. I have shoulder length hair and it worked great with that length hair. Can't think of anything I didn't like about it!

I did research for 8 months before committing to a wand. Videos, reviews, blog posts, Facebook groups etc. though the glove could be better, I love everything else about this wand! The salon length swivel cord, the size, the temp control. I loved it so much I recommended it to some friends and family members. 9 others have purchased it and I have heard nothing but raves. When I lived in AZ my straightener did the trick for curls, but in Charleston my curls would flatten 2 hours later. With this wand, my curls stay for days!

This is the first curling wand I've owned, I've used friends' wands before but this one is by far the best I've used! My hair is normally stick straight and never holds curls. (Like, the strands I start on will be flat by the time I finish and then I look lopsided!) This wand curled my hair so cute and they held ALLLLL DAYYYY! Granted, they did loosen a bit throughout the day but that's okay because I didn't want super tight curls! But my hair was still holding the curl by bedtime. Now, I did wait till my hair was not freshly washed and I also used sea salt texture spray before curling and then used hair spray after I curled all my hair. I wish I would have taken photos to add to my review!

In the past I have owned about two curling irons and a straightener from hot tools and each time they have been the best. I've tried other brands of curling irons and straightener but they just didn't cut it for me. I was never satisfied. This wand curler is perfect and easy to use. It came with a glove and I used it for one or two curls but after that I decided I didn't need it and I really didn't burn myself. I like that the tip of this curler isn't heated so you have a place to rest a finger and keep it steady. It has different heat settings and it definitely heats up quick. The curl is gorgeous. The only thing I would change is the length of the wand. I think it would be beneficial if it was at least a half inch to an inch longer. Other then that I can't complain. Save yourself time and buy it!

I love the Hot Tools line. I had the curling iron with the clamp and found I prefer not to use it, so when it came time to replace it, I knew I wanted to stay with Hot Tools and purchased the curling iron without the clamp.

Alright so I've been wanting a curling wand for the longest time, so when I saw this available on amazon I knew I had to get it. ( hot tools is definitely best of the best) so I received it super fast ( thank you amazon prime) and immediately began using it when I got it. My first thought about it was that it was super weird to use, since I've been only curling my hair with a straightener, but after some time of getting the hang of it I really enjoy it! Now I am not pro yet, and it is still a little awkward to use for me, but in time and some practice I know I'll love using it. So far I like it a lot, and would recommend it to anyone contimplating on buying this! P.S Using this on my hair doesn't leave that burnt scent that my straighter left, so that's an extra plus! My hair looks super smooth and shiny not dried up and frizzy!

Wanted the wavy look that's popular right now. I have a lot of hair, but it's fine and even if I curl it with hot rollers, by the end of the day my hair just has a slight wave. Bought this iron, and though the heat glove was MIA, it was fairly easy to use (I watched a few Youtube tutorials before ordering the iron). I set it to 330 degrees, use heat spray, roll the hair, set for about 8 seconds, then hold the curl for a few more seconds (w/o the iron). After I've done my whole head, I spray with light hold hairspray and finger comb after a couple of minutes. My hair stays curled all day long! Even waking up the next day, my hair is still curled. I never had good second day hair (looked greasy and flat even with dry shampoo and curling again), but now I actually think my hair looks better the second day.

I love this curling iron. I have a larger size and love that it gets hotter than most. Works great and love the long cord. It makes nice tight curls that I shake out for beautiful beach waves
