I purchased the DIY Dog Pool Fence and put it up all by myself without having to ask my husband for help once!! Our sweet dogs love to swim and we let them but they kept getting on the pool cover and I was scared it would rip and they wouldn't be able to get out. This has worked perfect!!

1- Easy install. Hammer drill and 5/8" long bit needed. 4" depth. 3 ft apart. 5 holes per section. Measure stuck provided. Put sleeves in. Put fence rods in. Connect section w provided latches.. I used zip ties so not to drill in metal! Lean might be needed if not going straight. 2- Good looking see through mesh fence. 3- Width can be customized. 4- Sleeve caps provided to cover when poles removed. Won't be easy to remove though. They jam good in place. Still have to test durability w weather conditions.

This is very easy to install, and the fence is good and sturdy. I bought 10 sections of fence (as well as the gate) and from first getting the product out the box to having the gate leveled and adjusted took about 8 hours. That included the time to actually read the instructions and plan out the fence route. The drilling base is essential, and also sturdy. The bullseye system and leveling bolts work fine, there are two bushings in it so the drill bit rotates freely, and you need to put some angle on the fence posts, depending on the shape of your pool. If you have a square pool, then you could get by without the base, but if you have some curved shape to your pool, then you set the posts at a slight tilt in order to get the right tension on the posts. I would not want to try doing that drilling without the guide. You need an 18" bit in order to get deep enough into the pool deck with the drilling guide. The gate was probably the most complicated bit of the installation, but still easy enough to do. Even with buying a Bosch rotary drill specifically for this job, 18" long 5/8" drill bit and the guide base I paid about a quarter of what I got quoted for this job.

Exceptional product. After waiting months for the local 'professionals' to come take my money, I got impatient and found this product. Based on other reviews, I decided it was well within my skill level and totally doable. And boy am I glad I did. After 8 weeks of runaround by the 'pros', Amazon Prime had the whole setup to me overnight. The fence itself is very high quality, every bit as good as the stuff the pros use. With the drill guide (highly recommended) and a rented hammer drill from Home Depot, I went to town and did the whole job, 52 feet total, in about 3 hours, with breaks. The instructions were clear and easy and the provided drilling templates made it fairly foolproof. I also purchased the gate offered by the same company, which is equally excellent, and also installed easily. And best of all, I did the whole job for under $800 (including tool rental, the drill guide, and incidentals). The cheapest quote I got from the 'professionals' was over $1400, and wouldn't have been any better. I now have a nice safe pool area for my 16-month old, and a whole bunch of change in my pocket. I should also note that I did receive one section of fence that was missing a few pieces of hardware. However, I called the manufacturer on a Sunday, and not only did they answer, but were VERY cordial, apologetic and helpful. And as promised they had the replacement parts at my door by Tuesday. So you can expect that the service will be as good as the product, should you need it. Based on my experience I'd give this company and their products six stars if it was an option. Great products, service and prices. What more could you ask for? If you're thinking about installing a fence like this and are even a little bit handy, go for it. You'll be glad you did.

Super attractive took sometime to install only because we had a cordless drill, but it looks great and keeps the Bulldog out of the pool and that's all we can ask for.
