I was undergoing a home renovation and needed a laptop stand so I could work in various rooms throughout the day … anything to avoid the construction noise. I came across this stand and thought I’d give it a try. Glad I did! This stand is very easy to use and easy to store. I love that I can use it anywhere and it keeps my laptop from overheating. The mousepad is an added bonus! I highly recommend this item!

It does what it describes. My only complaint is takes a little adjusting before you can get it just right, I was hoping I could kinda push and pull it but you have to push buttons at every joint to adjust. Not bad just a little tediousOtherwise great, sturdy, does what you need it to do.

IT WAS EXCELLENT

We bought 3 of these during 2020, because all 3 of us had to zoom from home. We used them daily for a little over a year. It's 2022, and we're still using them, though more like a couple of times a week to work in the evenings or on weekends. I had been skeptical about how well the legs and joints would last because they're made out of plastic and felt pretty lightweight. But they're still working as they did when they were new. The mouse plate has probably gotten the hardest usage. I broke one of the 3 by accidentally stepping on it and bending the metal. I wish the metal that wedges under the laptop tray were a little longer, because it would be easier to bend it back. But overall, these have been surprisingly durable with regular use. I'm no longer interested in buying things aren't going to last, so I thought this might be worth knowing for other folks who are similarly inclined. So many of the reviews on Amazon are from right after people purchase things, and have no bearing on the item's durability. It doesn't necessarily feel like a durable product when you first receive it, but it's done right by us so far.

I bought this and was a bit skeptical that it would be sturdy enough to support my 7.5lb 17" laptop, my anything-but-petit trackball, and my external monitor+arm. There is a little wobble, but it's quite functional. I wanted this for a standing desk as I do the digital nomad thing, to use on countertops/tabletops/desks. Fortunately, it fits comfortably in my hard-sided carry-on, so I had to check out the functionality. It was delivered yesterday and I spent a little time last night getting familiar with the settings for different positions and checking the stability with my heavy laptop. It has extraordinary flexibility in configurations. This morning I attached the external monitor arm over one of the support joints, added the monitor, and used the setup all day long. I typically switch the trackball mid-day from one side to the other and usually that means I need to switch the external monitor arm, too. Not so with this configuration because the arm was just out of the way of the mouse surface. Now my mind doesn't have to adjust quite so much and I don't have to switch monitor configurations when I shift from one side to the other. It worked surprisingly well. Huzzah!I obviously have no long-term experience with this, and although the support bar (leg?) joints are plastic, It feels like it will have the longevity to serve me for some time if I'm gentle with it. Based on other reviews here, I was very careful to work on top of the bubble wrap it came with until I've decided to make it my own. Now I'll add rubber feet to protect the surfaces on which I work.

The angle locks for adjusting the tray are very easy to use and have held up very well!

This desk has been tremendously helpful since I’ve started working primarily at home. I developed neck and shoulder pain, due to my poor posture while using the laptop in bed, at the table, and on the sofa. I’m also a hobby artist and spent a lot of time bending over sketchbooks. Physical therapist recommended this desk and it is working well so far.The desk is lightweight and easily portable. I’m able to use it inside and while sitting outside. You definitely need to read the directions on recommended settings for the various locations. What works on a sofa does not work in bed or on a table. Once you get the settings right, it’s quite sturdy. I took photos of the settings I use most so I can quickly find them on my phone.I also like that I can clip a small book light on it when working at night. The surface is textured, which works well for a laptop and keeps it cool. If you’re planning to write you’ll want to put something smooth below your paper.I am very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend this desk to anyone looking to improve their posture while working, drawing, or even reading.

I have been living in a recliner now 19 days and have another 5 days of "flat of back" rehab to go. This 3 joint support system in unbelievably fabulous!. Tried others......light enough to lift with one hand. keeps lap top cool. can adjust to be a computer desk or a lunch table....can't imagine a better product. Maybe in time the dials to adjust the 3 joints will break or wear out but at $40 can get another! LIfe saver. Can comfortably work while laying down. LIttle "side attachment" also wonderful....it can be at completely different angle of laptop support; on either right or left side. can set a cup on it; use it for mousing, or clip what I'm typing from .... Great design !!! and inexpensive....think I might get one for every one on my Christmas list.

How can something be so light and so sturdy? I have no idea, but this is. Adjusting it takes a little patience but once you figure it out, no big deal. I use it for large books so that my arms don't get tired, but mostly to stand up to use my laptop (on the kitchen counter). I do have a different keyboard on the countertop, but this is a great way to not have to always sit when working. It comes with extra parts to make it versatile. I bought one for my sister to hold her music books with her (piano type) keyboard underneath. It is sturdy enough to hold those.
