I bought one. Tried it out. I almost dropped my laptop twice. The front ridge, designed to stop the laptop from sliding off, is quite high and unsuited for a modern, thin laptop in that it cuts into your wrists as you type. It might work with an older model with a thick body. It shakes at the lowest level you can set it to. I tried it at several heights, and it only worsens when you raise it. The mouse pad can't really be attached to the platform. I returned it for a refund.

Setup never ends! Neither does the perpetual misery.Target Buyers: Engineers and Geometry TeachersNo exaggeration! The concept is incredible. The execution (a concept you may find appropriate for the designer) is horrible. The initial attraction is the flexibility to use the stand in a variety of positions. And this IS POSSIBLE. THEORETICALLY. For SOME of us.At first glance, the charts on the instruction sheet give the impression that the stand is easy to operate. The second and subsequent glances don't leave such a favorable impression. It doesn't matter whether it's the initial setup or each time you want to switch from one position to the next, you will find yourself depressing and releasing buttons and bending a series of interconnected legs while attempting to interpret the "easy" charts. And IF you are successful at accomplishing the setup on one side, you now must reproduce the entire configuration on the other side. There are many other products on the market which will get the job done without the frustration of this product.Do yourself a favor. Skip this product and buy one of the others!

I bought this so I could stand at my desk and rest my keyboard and mouse on it. Great idea right! This works great but it’s very difficult to use. You have to adjust one leg at a time. There are like three different angles to adjust. There are numbers on the dials but I just found it to too complicated. Sorry.

This stand was very complicated and not user friendly. I had to unfold it after ever use. It made it difficult to get the legs back where I needed them.

Not easy to raise and lower. Takes two hands and multiple twists and turns to adjust height. Cracked metal when I got it.

Seems like it would be fine except - no mouse attachment in the box that is shown on the photo. No place to put the mouse, although the slot to connect it is there. Maybe the replacement will have it.

Absolutely fo not like the design for using over your lap when sitting on a couch.Unit legs do not extend far enough back to front and unit is then very unstable and uncomfortable.Terrible design for use while sitting on a couch or soft seat furniture.
