I am Over 60, have fair, dry, sensitive skin with problems typical of one who spent too much time in the sun before the advent of SPF… i.e. texture, wrinkles, age spots. I had put off using retinol due to extreme sensitivity. My dermatologist recommended this and while it didn’t turn back the clock 20, or even 10 years, my skin has gotten better, with NO irritation. I will now try the 1% as I think that I will get more results. Highly recommend!

I haven't used it for long, but after one use I could see a softness/smoothness in my complexion. It is pretty drying though. I am still working on finding the right amount of moisturizer to use with this. I expect the dryness will go away in a few weeks.

The only retinal I’ve been able to tolerate so far. Helping with evening of skin tone and texture. It’s only been 2 1/2 weeks so I can’t speak on aging benefits yet. So far so good though. I’m using it every 3rd night for now. Slow and steady wins the race.

I have tried to use retinols in the past but had great difficulty . My skin would become reddened and dry and irritated. I’ve also have a history of eczema and didn’t want to reactivate those issues. Since I have been using Avene products since my eczema bout, I decided to give this product in the o.o5 version. I have been using only 3 times per week to begin week I have already begin to see a difference in my skin. It looks brighter and happier. If I notice a little redness, I just cut back for a day or two. So far I’m very happy with the results and also ordered the retin eye cream.
