Out of the box it seemed like a nice umbrella from goplus. I have a goplus paddle board that has held up so thought this might as well. Less than a year and in storage fall, winter, and early spring and taken down during rain and wind, thus only used on sunny days. Simply did not last, the stand is garbage too and weighs like 2 oz. Do not buy a total waste of money and no response from merchant regarding item.

I bought one of these for MIL Mothers Day of 2020. We set it up and it snapped off the top where it had been glued or put together the first day we had it up. We screwed it down and it should've been able to take a slight breeze according to the information given. I emailed the seller and she asked for pictures. I sent pictures and emailed her back. NOTHING HAS EVER BEEN MADE RIGHT BY THE SELLER! DONT BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

It was great for 4 days. Then an internal rope - holding the umbrella expanded is starting to fray. We live in an area with almost no wind, so that’s not an issue. Now we’re worried about the umbrella collapsing on our heads. I have contacted the manufacturer, hopefully they have a fix. I will update when I hear back.UPDATE: I opened the umbrella for the 5 day and it collapsed. The company has stated they will issue a $50 refund (less than half the purchase price). They will not budge, making this horrible purchase, now I have to dismantle the thing and have it hauled away - probably costing $100. DON’T BUY!

This umbrella came with a small tear. I contacted the company but never received any kind of replacement. After about 3 weeks the top part of the umbrella twisted and nearly broke! The entire pole is bent and twisted. We live in KY but are always sure to put them down while we are gone to work or if the wind is blowing. However, we do experience breezes through the day when it’s sunny. This umbrella did not hold up and the company was difficult to communicate with!! Would not recommend. 9/18/2019.It’s April 2020 and we are now disassembling the twisted broken mess to remove from our deck. Don’t buy this!Update: umbrella is officially broke.

This umbrella is a piece of garbage. In fact throwing it in the trash would be a dis service to thewaste management field.I knew I made a massive mistake when I took the umbrella out of the box and saw the length of legs that were tobe the base support. Also, to any of the know it all, "well we drilled bolts into the ground and its perfect" is notonly a liar but an obvious designer of this janky piece of trash. The bolts that attach would not handle a midgetsfart worth of wind before there would be a complete catastrophic structure failure.Once we got the umbrella built and opened it up, it looks nice and does provide a good bit of coverage, However, being outdoors generally means theres wind. Well, when the wind blows this thing turned so much it was like loosing a jib sheet sailing at 50 knots in the Pacific. This thing will torque and spin like wrestling a small calf at a rodeo.Anyways, after 3 months of faithful service the umbrella has had enough and is on its way to umbrella heaven to let down a recycling yard somewhere in California.

This is extremely cheaply made. We had ours up for a week and even bought the weighted stand that is linked in the description that pairs with it. After receiving the weighted stand, we assembled it to find out that it is not compatible with this umbrella, even though it was the one linked in the profile. I contacted customer service and couldn’t even decipher what they were saying because they’re English was that poor. The umbrella itself cannot even withstand a SLIGHT BREEZE. this is actually a HUGE safety hazard as it could kill your animals or kids playing outside if it blows over because it weighs so much. The whole system fell with again, A SLIGHT breeze and fell over in the yard. Thankfully no one was hurt. DO. NOT. PURCHASE.

Terrible Base is not sturdy.

Wanted to love this umbrella however already snapped after only several uses. The umbrella itself is high quality however the supporting bars are partially plastic and flimsy. If the wind is even slightly blowing the whole thing will either fall over (we used massive water weights) or snap like ours did.

Umbrella is top heavy & falls over easily. Had to create alterations to the base to help keep it from falling over.
