Purchased Butterflies and Humming Birds & neither "change color" after being in the sun all day!

I ordered two sets of solar chimes. The first set arrived a day earllier and it was in perfect condition. However the second set arrived the next day and it was broken into pieces. I tried to contact customer service about getting a refund but the links they told me to use did not work for initiating a refund. So I contacted PayPal to get a refund.
