Didn't come with charger. In the booklet it shows a charger but all I got is the plug or connector to the charger

I like the fact that it's lightweight and so easy to use and the quality and great price, but the battery doesn't last long at all, I think that they should give you 2 battery or improved the quality of this one

This blower can easily clear a patio of fall leaves, blow annoying mini crabapples from a sidewalk and similar tasks. Its light enough for easy handling. HOWEVER... in the manual there are lots of critical rules you have to follow. 1. After charging is done, (5 hrs for full) IMMEDIATELY unplug the charger as it keeps on charging. 2. Don't let it fully run down or "the battery may be permanently damaged" 3. Don't store it over 1 year without use or you can never again "use it or recharge it without permanent damage" - AKA you're done! 4. Must be charged above 41 degrees F (or ?) Also, a replacement battery costs more than this whole unit and you need a new type charger for the new versions, apparently.

When I bought this I did not realize that it did not come with a battery. When you buy the battery you will also need the charger. It’s all pretty much sold as separate as can get unless you buy the package deal so you might as well. That being said, it works pretty well for a leaf blower. The battery, however, only lasts about 20 to 30 minutes. So for bigger jobs you should have two batteries fully charged.

I had high hopes for this product but I'm disappointed in it despite the low price. First, I had read reports about battery charge time versus discharge and only realize how one sided this is now I've had the chance to experience for myself putting the battery on charge. The manual states 5 hours charging for 12 minutes use and this is pretty much what I found. A quick charger would make the low use time acceptable but to wait 5 hours while the battery charges, in order to complete a 20 minute job will turn many folks away unless, unlike me, they have other Sun Joe products with compatible batteries.As for function during those 12 minutes, my main use is for pine needles though the following may be relevant for leaves too. The blower does ok with needles on a flat surface like a driveway or patio or deck but struggles with pine needles in even short grass where any friction is evident. I haven't tested on wet leaves or needles but I cannot imagine it working well for that same reason. And you really can't afford to have the blower struggle with a job when you have so little battery time in which to carry it out.So for me, this blower is of limited use for small flat areas and I'll likely buy a more powerful corded one for keeping my grass areas tidy.Two and a half stars.

Powerful but too low battery

I like that the blower is light and easy to use. But, when it comes to the battery that is another story. Run time about 10 minutes and 5 hrs. to charge. What??? Not happy with that part!! 😞 I would suggest getting another model!

Battery does not last long.
