I bought these because the previous headphones that I was using for video calls broke. They were $40 and I figured I would upgrade to better ones. The sound is fine. I hear better with these than my $40 ones but the microphone is awful. I saw a review on some website saying that these have a good microphone but they are worse than my cheap headphones. And when I use these for zoom calls I can't turn the volume up much so it's almost pointless to use these on calls. Not sure why the sound quality plummets when using them with my laptop. If you just want headphones to listen to music on your phone it's fine but if you're looking for headphones for zoom calls using your laptop, these are not your headphones.

UPDATE: Returned for a new pair, this work great. Slight trouble staying in ear, and bass is a little on the lighter side but works great. Calls are good probably the best part about these. The problem I found out was the app with the updated plug in that was suppose to fix bugs. It created more bugs so on this pair I DID NOT connect to the app they work fine.I had the Soundcore Life 2 those were pretty good minus voice calls were shaky and can't connect to 2 devices. So I purchased these when my accidentally washed my life 2.Really wanted to love these...... Buuutttttt they will not keep connection in public, lots of static, you can't put the phone in your pocket that's a no no, matter of fact don't move sudden. Second day of use I noticed the sound volume began to lower itself and could not be turned back up. I tried I reset of the headphones that seemed to work. While you alone isolated from the world these are 5 star. So during COVID these might work for you, but if you need to use these in public spaces I'm not sure if they handle the load.

I got these earphones as a replacement for my Taotronics earbuds (long story short, the buds don't wanna connect to each other anymore), and when they first arrived, the quality of the box was apparent immediately. I assumed I was getting a premium product, and for those first couple of hours it sure felt like it. With hearID through the Soundcore app and a multitude of customization options as well as multiple eartips, I thought, "Wow, this really is an improvement!" And then the problem made itself clear. Whether connecting to my phone or my laptop, half of the time only the voice will connect, while the audio, for some unknown reason, DOES NOT WORK. On my aging Galaxy S8, I kept hitting the "Connect Audio" toggle in the Bluetooth settings of the product. And you know what? It would keep switching off. Like the earbuds WOULDN'T allow me to listen to music, or videos, which was THE SOLE PURPOSE TO BUYING THESE IN THE FIRST PLACE! You know what you have to do to fix it? You have to hit this button on the bottom of the charging case, and maybe, maybe the earphones will connect properly. Otherwise, you just have to rinse and repeat until finally your bluetooth settings show "Connected audio AND voice". Heck, even the Taotronics I mentioned, which wouldn't even pair to each other never had this issue. Disappointing, indeed.Aside from that glaring issue, the touch control customization is nice, and the Soundcore app allows you to mess around with the sound of the earbuds so certain parts of songs are louder than others. I am no audiophile so I can't go into specifics, but it is very nice.If I never had this issue, or if it had popped up after years and years of use, then yeah, I would've given it 5 stars. As it stands, it doesn't deserve that. Maybe I'll try to get a replacement copy.

Overall, these are great earbuds for the price but they didn't work for me. Below are few of the things that stood out for me.Sound Quality:It took some time to get the sound right with the equalizer but afterwards they sounded great.Fit:I guess my ears are too close to my jaw (from what I've read) because the earbuds kept falling out despite having a very snug fit. Looking back at my past earbuds, they all had an additional wing on them that allowed for them to fit snug against both the inside of my ear canal and the back of my ear. I guess that is what I need because I tried these things out while running and while walking around the house and was constantly catching them as they were falling out. Because of this, I'm going with the Jaybird Vistas. Unfortunately, they don't have the wireless charging feature which I really liked with these earbuds.Connectivity:This wasn't a huge problem but there were a few times were the earbuds would not connect to my iphone 11. This required me to put them back in the case, and then take out again for the phone to recognize the earbuds. It only happened a couple of times but it's very frustrating to think that you can go about your business and leave the case somewhere and have to go through the whole process again. The last thing I want to do is carry the case with me while I'm doing housework or going for a run.Unfortunately, they would not stay in my ear.

While the earbuds can(?) connect to multiple devices, it's clunky. You have to trick them into doing it, and it's not simultaneous. If I'm connected to my laptop and get a call on my phone, I have to put the headphones back in their case and take them out in reverse order to get it to connect to the other device. If you do trick them into being connected to both at the same time, the sound quality is poor as they don't know which device to play from. When you put them back in the case, you have to trick them again into the dual connection setup when you pull them out. "Less than ideal"I've tried each of the rubber ear tip sizes, and these things don't stay in my ears. Eating, or even talking with them in can cause them to wiggle free - if gravity hasn't yet.The case, USB-C, and wireless charging are great.I think a fair price would be ~$20.

These sound good and have a cool feature where you can use the app to dial in the audio tuning. They also last quite a long time on a charge and I have never had it tell me anything other than "battery high" when it connects. USB-C is fine, and charges on all of my chargers. It also charges quickly on my three wireless chargers (two Anker Powerwave pads and one built into a 2018 Toyota Tacoma. I quickly moved to the smallest size of the ear gels and would get headaches on any of the larger sizes. They fall out sometimes too so I would not recommend for running, biking, skiing, etc but that might be because they actually just don't fit my ears very well and I need the smallest size. All of this is normal headphone stuff though and they make a good seal to the point that they are useful for cutting out environmental noise without them even being on. For the record, I have never had any issues with the original version Apple Airpods as they fit very well and I have never gotten a headache or had them fall out. Fit is important but subjective. Here is the other thing, if you have a complex bluetooth ecosystem already, these might not be worth adding to it. I have an IOS phone, Android phone, OSX laptop, Bose noise cancelling headphones, and Apple Airpods and I want them to all play together well. They all do just fine. These Anker headphones get stuck to a source sometimes. They connect to a phone and won't connect to the other when I ask. They play while in the case sometimes. The case lid feels a little sloppy rather than tight and snappy. They will sometimes only connect as a single headphone. They connect with a static noise floor when certain apps on the Android phone are active. Sometimes they connect very loud. Sometimes they remember my last volume setting. Then other times they won't connect to any source at all and it times out over and over until I restart that device. It just feels clumsy and have wasted plenty of time trying to get it to work well before giving up and just connecting to a more reliable set of headphones. I would like to replace the Airpods due to rapidly shrinking battery life after a year of use. Objectively, I don't think these are the solution for me.

The Anker/Soundcore Liberty Air 2s are serviceable, and that's all the praise I can give them.Pairing worked flawlessly for me, and I was able to connect them to my (android) phone and update the firmware with no issues.Build quality is ok - the case's hinge is wobbly, and has a finish that's almost nice but feels rather gritty and stains easily with sweat, and for the price I'm ok with it.Audio quality is also just ok (see a theme here?). They have a very narrow sound stage with good base but crushed mids, and most of the included equalizers make the highs sparkle so much it drowns out everything else.As far as listening to music just to listen to music goes, I can't recommend these. They have a tiny soundstage with good bass and bad everything else. As far as using them more like beaters or exercise headphones outside of home, these are near perfect. They are cheap enough that losing part of it isn't the end of the world (though Anker might replace it, but I haven't asked), but without unlistenable sound. The lack of a transparency feature, however, makes it hard to recommend these for exercise or work. They seal tightly and do a good job of blocking out noise (note they also have no active noise cancellation), so no transparency feature - something that would require only a firmware update, and is available on the model up from these, the Pros - is a major hit to what's otherwise a decent product. I, personally, will be returning mine soon and picking up some Galaxy Buds.

I love the sound that comes out of these, but there are some slight issues I've experienced. The tap touch never works like one wants it to, so I disabled it. To this day, I have never had bluetooth work flawless yet. I have to keep putting these back in the case and closing the lid to get them to turn off and back on in order to try to get them reconnected. They connect, then disconnect. They connect, then they disconnect. They connect, then disconnect. Put them back in the case, close the lid, wait 10 seconds. Try to connect, they connect.

These are just OK headphones - there are some highlights and some low points to call out. They have great noise cancelation and an app to pair with the earbuds where you can tune perfectly for your hearing abilities. For the price, I feel like I got what I paid for. Sometimes the left earbud kinda goes in and out but I don't notice it until it comes back into sound. Sometimes it's a real pain to get them to connect properly, sometimes the left one won't turn on or the right one - the Bluetooth settings on my phone show 2 devices to connect to, but you can only connect to one at a time. I ended up doing a factory reset because I couldn't get them to pair. I think you have to be patient before taking them out of the case, make sure all the blinking lights are done before taking each one out. I connected them to my laptop so I could take client calls on Zoom with them in and that's only worked like once or twice - and it doesn't allow you to be paired with the computer and phone at the same time. It was easier with my Jaybirds to toggle between the two devices but with these, it's complicated and not that easy. They work but have their limitations.

They keep slipping out of my ears
