It does not give off heat unless you are right on top of it. My husband and I are very disappointed. We both really do not feel that we received a product comparable to the cost of the item. Would have loved for it to disperse more heat to a wider range. Basically, we found, you have to be right on top of it very close to it in order to fee any warmth. Love the color

Fit and finish are mediocre. Assembly requires some bending of parts. It is cumbersome to ignite. The pilot light stays on after the heating element is lit, using more gas that ideal. Worst of all, it does not put out enough heat for more than two people sitting close to stay warm.

This order will explain why the Chinese steal our technology. Oblong holes for round screws. You'll love step one. Horrible. Get ready to drill out holes. Pass on this product. Save your sanity.

In about 1 year of use, I have been able to get to work 2 times. Once when it was new and once after a replacement part came aftdr it stopped working. The manufacturer was honored the warranty but the warranty is short.
