Assembly

I had to create bigger holes for screws provided. Will require a drill.

Love the finish on this unit.

Works great for those cold fall nights on the patio with a glass of wine in hand

Table top patio heater

Very pleased with product, the only thing I would suggest for the company that supplied this is to colour code the screws as it was somewhat confusing to assemble.

Ease of assembly. Overall quality of product.

Bought this as replacement for a similar table top propane heater of lesser quality. Hooked a 20 gallon propane tank to hose that came assembled to heater and am totally satisfied.

Perfect Patio Heater

My outside space is not that large so this patio heater was the perfect solution. I place it right in the middle of my outdoor dining table and it keeps everyone seated comfortable. This heater uses the small propane bottles which are easy to find at any home improvement or camping store. I always keep plenty of spares on hand. Also, this heater was easy to put together. Only took a few minutes.

Best ever

This thing works like a champ! I highly recomend you can get the cord so you can use a normal large propane tank while operating it though. The little bottles don't seem to last very. It doesn't just heat our picnic table, it heats our ENTIRE two car garage.

When it takes a while for your Snowbird hideout to quit having weather like back home!

I have friends and been to establishment's who have the big propane patio heaters. Never saw the need for one at our Winter hideout in SW AZ. This year was rainy and cool for down here and we were at a club who had the table top patio propane heaters. I figured the only way to get the weather to change was to buy one. My usual purchasing method is get the cheapest one and hope for the best. After seeing the prices that didn't difer from floor model to table top and went from cheap to OMG, I figured research was called for. Less than half the reviews for the inexpensive and their seller were positive. All the usual, missing parts, won't go together, worked for a while, crappy customer service and doesn't heat very well. I finally found one with pretty good ratings and okay prices. So it was off to the internet shopping mall to see who had the best deal on the "Fire Sense" table top patio radiant propane heater. There are a lot of places to purchase one so pick your own winner. Mine was $118.00 with free shipping. About 3 days from Florida to Arizona. For me this was the best part. Before giving up the life of leisure and regular pay checks I spent over three decades as a Biomedical Engineer. I have assembled and disassembled some very complex equipment. I was even the neighborhood Barbie Dollhouse guy for a while. The unit came out of the box in the usual twelve dozen parts but I could only find one small parts bag with four items in it. The oh shite process started so I grabbed the manual. Huge surprise, it was in English and English only!!! The instructions were clear and had b&w photos which could be sharper. And the manual listed about 30 fasteners but there was no bag screws, nuts, bolts, duct tape. I start looking at the components and low and behold, the fasteners were already screwed into the appropriate hole with the appropriate fastener! So all of the tapping and alignment was completed. Remove the bolt/screws put the parts together, just as the manual says. Reinstall the bolt/screws and move to the next step. This Fire Sense heater was about the easiest and smoothest assembly I have ever done on something with more than 20 fasteners and a dozen parts. Moment of truth, propane hooked up. Follow lighting directions and it worked the first time. We have been enjoying the last week out on the patio with up to a half dozen people around the table. Temp has been about 50 but the heater has kept everyone around the table comfy. This is what this heater was designed to do. I don't think it will help you folks in Frostbite Falls Minn. have a 20 person Superbowl patio party when it is ten below. But if you need to knock the chill off on an otherwise nice day this table top unit will do it for you. Oh, by the way, purchasing did work. Supposed to be in low 80's next week!

Would not recommend

The heat did not disperse very far. You have to sit right next to it to feel the heat. I returned this item.
