Purchased for RV travel. So far has worked as expected. Easy to use. Not a big source of heat unless you sit very close but nice option when not wanting a wood fire.

I really like this fire pit, it works well with my RV. However, the knob will only go to “low“. It will not shut off. This requires me to shut the gas off at the bottle to shut it down. We bought it and stored for three months before we hit the road with the RV, so it’s too late to return it.

The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is because it is not a great source of heat when it’s 40-50 degrees outside. However, it does work very well and I imagine it provides ample heat for chilly summer evenings. It is very easy to use, well made and does a fine job roasting hotdogs.

Great portable pit for small spaces-pack the heat with adjustable settings. Price point was affordable-so glad I purchased it.

We sat the portable fire pit into our own fire pit. I was surprised it really fit. ( not saying it fits all fire pits) We bought it for the mountain camping trips. Due to dry weather we are under fire ban in the summer. Appearance is like the picture and quality is great.

It is just how the description described. Good quality and an instint fire. No messing with trying to get a wood fire going and alot safer.

We just used this fire pit on our two week camping trip to Oregon. We were very pleased. I’m not sure it would be a super good heat source if you are going to be in really cold weather, but it was perfect for an evening around the campfire. My husband says more rocks would help in the heat source department. I love that there is no messy ash to clean up or worry about when packing it up. The lid and strap/handle system is pretty slick as well. I would have given it five stars but the stitching broke on one side of the handle when I pulled it out of the truck while we unpacked.

Great fire pit, but be careful when you first lite it as some of the lava rock will pop and bang because of trapped air. This isn't mentioned in the instruction manual, should be.
