Really like it. Strong pickup. Gets in small narrow spaces.

Difficult to replace dirt cup in twisting on motor. Doable but a hassle. Other than that, nice power in picking up.

Originally 1 star review: I got this to replace my old corded Dirt Devil hand vac which is 20 years old and finally died. This cordless version simply would not charge/turn on. I charged it on my trusted charger outlet, that I use for all my lithium battery devices... for over 5 hours! Of the 3 lights that show the product is in charge mode, 2 remained steady... the 3rd just kept blinking for the duration of the 5 hours. I tried the start button several times at different points in the 5 hour charging span, both connected to the charger & free of the charger...dead as doornail. I checked the Dirt Devil problem page to find a solution, but nothing worked.Amendment: Today, after I wrote the above review, I went to take the Dirt Devil apart and box it up for return. Thought I 'd hit the start button one more time....it works!I have no idea why it did not work when I turned it on after charging yesterday... I tried at least 15 times over the course of the day with no results... but it is working now, so this is my amendment....If it doesn't turn on after charging...leave it overnight (off the charger) and it will probably turn on fine the next day. I tried the vacuum with both tools & the suction is great...it is working as intended! So, Dirt Devil cordless does work as well as a corded version... so far. I have not seen how long it will run on the charge, but am very happy that it works! 4.5 Stars because there is a hitch in the get-along, hopefully it won't show up again. But this machine vacuumed up hair and fine particles very well!

Perfect for cat hair and stray liter. The long attachment is great for reaching back behind things. The suction is great on the longer attachment but I do not like the brush roller. I don't feel like it picks up as nice. Just using the longer tube attachment works well and quickly.

I thought this would be an easy solution to stair cleaning rather than using a full size floor vacuum. It is perfect for thoroughly cleaning the stairs however the power head with the spinning brush stops working on the plush carpet. I’ve checked it repeatedly for hair or other debris but there is nothing preventing it from turning. The power head works perfectly on the Berber and hardwood. The crevice tool is nice for cleaning the sliding door tracks and between sofa cushions and tight corners. The dirt compartment is easy enough to remove and empty. The power button is conveniently located at the thumb spot for quick on/off functionality.This Dirt Devil powered on right out of the box. I plugged it in and let it charge overnight (it was fully charged in approximately 5-6 hours) and got to cleaning. I used the vacuum for about 15 minutes and it used 1 bar of power. If I can solve the powerhead problem, this would be a 5 star product.

It’s a Dirt Devil! This Cordless 16V Deep Clean Handheld Vacuum w/ Motorized Pet Hair Tool has good suction, especially for its size. It is easy to operate, and the battery charge lasts enough time to clean the furniture or the inside of our car. The powerhead does a good job of moving the debris into the suction tube. I also like using it to reach into those tight crevices on furniture, and especially those tight places in vehicles. And Yes! It will suck up French fries from the fast-food joint with the big yellow arches, just as long as they are not too long. The dirt cup is easy to detach and clean. It’s not overly heavy, and its size is convenient for those small jobs.Conclusion: I’ve had several cordless compact vacuums similar to this one over the years, and I can say this one is at the top of the list of my favorite vacuums in its category. I cannot say that it exceeded my expectations, but it did meet them, which is my requirement for giving a four-star review. If I had purchased this vacuum, I would not return it simply because I didn’t like it or it didn’t function to my satisfaction. Every Dirt Devil vacuum I’ve owned, cordless and corded, has been very good and dependable for several years. I hope this one proves to be the same. I’m sure it will be. If not, I will come back and amend my review.

The media could not be loaded. This vacuum is very convenient because it's portable and cordless. Great for when you just need to quickly clean up small areas the suction is stronger than expected for the size and was able to pick up many different kinds of things. The only problem for my household is a dog with long hair, which can quickly clog the suction on the vacuum. You can see in the picture which is a little bit of hair vacuumed up covers the area that is pulling the air through and cut down the sections significantly. Battery life was pretty good and if you're just doing small jobs, it's easy to keep it fully charged in between. Recharge time did not take long at all after the first use. Definitely a handy tool to keep around when you want to keep the house tidy without pulling out a big vacuum and having to unwrap the cord and wrap it back up.

For the most part this handheld vacuum is good portable vacuum for stairs or a car. If you have dogs or cats use the motorized attachment to pull up the hair. I have a Husky and her hair seems to be like velcro in carpets. The motorized tool did pick up the hair, but I had to keep cleaning the brush portion to keep it clear because her hair stuck to it. As long as your filter is clear/clean the vacuum has good suction power. The battery has a nice long life and I am happy with this portable tool for my Stairs.

I have a apartment size washer/dryer - I bought this for the lint in the dryer -- its so convenient and works great -- also small enough for easy counter storage

I was surprised with how well this cordless dirt devil worked. It’s powerful and makes cleaning messes in odd spaces that are difficult with a tradition vacuum so easy. I love that you get two attachments with it as well. I do however wish there was a way to flip the attachments into the vacuum somehow, because I’m afraid I will lose them.My biggest issue is that the battery life leaves something to be desired. It ran for maybe 10mins, 15 at most but I feel like that’s pushing it. But, with it being decently powerful I mean I get it, you can’t have it all.
