If you want your thermostat to be regulate by where you are in your home verses where the Nest is mounted, then get this device! It simply reads the temperature in the place you have mounted the device and sends that information to the Nest. This device eliminates rooms that are uncomfortable do to the location of the thermostat.

Love our Nest sensor. Great product, extremely easy to install and set up.

It works perfectly & does exactly what it says. If you live in a larger home, with a setup that consists of multiple heating and/or cooling zones, these sensors allow to get the temperatures right, wherever you may be throughout the day.

I have a large home with two separate ac/heat systems. But both stats are in the same hallway. I have added 3 of the nest stats and it allows me to keep my home more comfortable for the different time as we transition from spending the day in the main room to our bedrooms.

This is a great product to have in any part of your home you need to monitor or change the heat/cool.

These are great additions to the smart thermostat. I enjoy being able to adjust the room being occupied as opposed to just were the thermostat is located. I also like to be able to see the difference in temp from one end of my house to the other.

Our thermostat is in the hallway. Before we installed the sensor, our bedroom is always 5 to 8 degrees warmer than the hallway. We can now adjust the thermostat from our bed :)) once it reaches the desired temperature.

Sensor works as advertised. It was easy to connect to my Nest Thermostat. It fades into the background of the room, which is what you want from a piece of home infrastructure like a temperature sensor. I like the added data point it adds to the system which helps to avoid cold and hot spots in a house.

Have it in the nursery and love it, only thing I would change would be the ability to set personal timeslots to use the sensor instead of thermostat.
