Was not able to redeem code because the code that was given said it was already redeemed. I paid for the game but can’t play

Just get a message saying code has already been redeemed. Can’t get help anywhere.

I bought this for Christmas in November and it wouldn’t work it told me the number was already used so on Christmas Eve I had to call Amazon and told them what the problem was, I still waiting for my return on this item.
